This composition is dedicated to my first teacher of darbuka, very important human being - Abdel Kadir. I called it "Misirli Kadir" because thanks to him I play drums and it totally changed my life, like Misirli Ahmet totally changed the way how many drummers in the world now play darbuka. Also "misirli" means "egyptian" in turkish language and this composition is pretty much iun egyptian style.

This is totally 50x50 cooperation between me and Nikolay Kulyabko, the arranger and sound engeneer from Moscow.

What happens when a family of ghosts is making fun in the kitchen of a human's house.

It's nice to turn on this music, to lay down and to feel that your thoughts become less heavy and finally disapear. Slowly you start to dream and the ocean gently dendles you by its waves.

I just wanted to record a simple rhythm in 7/8 for practice :)

And practice turned into small composition.

Recorded in India, Goa, march 2012.

The ending of composition is korvai on 49 counts (korvai is south Indian frase composed according to some specific rules).

I like to experiment with odd meters. So here is my little "song" with gentle sounds of Rav Vast and electronic sounds.

Every time when I hear electronic music which is not 4/4 – I am grateful. So please more odd meters to the world! :)
