After singer/songwriter Gareth Peel came out of hospital at the back end of summer, 2021, he was unable to even pick up his instrument, let alone contemplate releasing new music. After just over 5 months, and with constant support - Gareth began taken steps towards performing again.
As part of his recovery (bassist)Mathew Williams set a challenge to write and record the band's first ever Christmas song, 'Christmas Snow; in time for its released one week before Christmas 2021. 
Thankfully the song was already a loose concept and therefore was recorded and produced quickly at Gareth's home studio in Nottingham. 
Christmas Snow touches on the darker sides of Christmas, which can be felt by many as a bitter sweet time of the year. Scenes of being reacquainted with unreciprocated love and the melancholy of former memories are explored but are concluded with a message of positivity and hope. This emerging from introspective mantra that Christmas, although tough, should be at least attempted to be enjoyed while you still can.
