Thank you to everyone who came to my set at Lunar Tide! I prioritized not holding back on what I wanted to play & it seems like people were into all the obscurities. Shoutout to my bois Juice & Inspect3r for supporting me last-minute, turning that hour into a full Satellite Era takeover.  For a while now, I have felt comfort knowing that it would be my last set as Streets. 

At first, I never really felt a connection to this project as it was merely a placeholder for what I wanted to achieve in music. Over the years, the love I have received and connections I have made for just being myself & sharing art has been overwhelming. I have barely scratched the surface yet still cannot express how grateful I am for this experience.

Unfortunately, I have lost part of myself in this journey. The entirety of this project's lifespan had its peaks met with a barrage of trauma. Anyone who knows me personally can attest to how much I have gone through these last 7 years - it breaks my own heart. 

The only thing I can really do right now is invest in my own health & finally be free from this pain. There has also been a major shift in my own interests - a lot of the communities I have been part of do not represent me anymore. Not to throw any shade, but part of me has truly felt that there is more to this. Without disconnecting, I feel like I will never achieve what I once set out to do...

That being said, I am putting the Streets project to rest and taking a step back for a while. The only alternative would be giving up on everything, but I am too proud of the space I have created over the years. I feel that I am not just doing this for myself, but for the progression of Satellite Era & all our talented friends. 

I already have a vision of what comes next - I just need to figure out how to get there by reconnecting with myself, along with my own art & emotions that I have neglected for too long.
