Cologne’s Tim Engelhardt delivers his debut EP for Watergate.

We got our first taste of Tim Engelhardt’s prodigious talent when ‘Under Armour’ featured on WhoMadeWho’s acclaimed Watergate 26 compilation earlier this year. The track was a masterstroke of tension-filled chords and crisp drums that put him squarely on the radar of the WG faithful. 

His first EP for the label ‘Rhy’, captures the essence of Watergate’s famous Waterfloor at dawn. The title track is drenched in sheaths of warm melodies, as velvety vocal undertones and sweeping strings welcome the morning light. ‘When The Sun Illuminated Her Eyes’, is the more driving accompaniment, as textured synths and delicate keys shine a light on Engelhardt’s accomplished skill as a pianist.

Suisse newcomer duo Rohrer & Stohler make their debut EP on Nie Wieder Schlafen with their swinging and gentle day groover EP Wonky, that is complemented by the dark yet energetic "Social" and a subtle rework by returning underground veteran El Mundo, who delivers a warm rework with soothing vocals of the youth.

With a crisp and nostalgic deep house flair comes Rohrer & Stohler's "Social". The slow and stripped vibe puts the focus on a tense atmosphere, that is underlined with sharp percussions and a classic bassline lead, that takes us back to some of our favourite festival moments back in the day.
