A Newcastle artist who generally prefers to remain faceless, turning his hand towards DJing, promotion, and production over his time spent devoted to the dancefloor, with an affinity towards Techno & Hard Groove sound palettes.

Known for her carefully selected tracks, HAMY invites her dancers on an enriching trip through her sound. Delivering straightforward, peak-time techno with tribal and groovy elements, her aim is to create a soundscape that is tooly, trippy, raw, and emotional. Her sound explores sonic territories from classic 90s-00s techno to today’s contemporary productions.

Growing up in Berlin allowed the Vietnamese DJ to develop an interest in electronic music at an early stage. HAMY started selecting and collecting music in 2012, and now, a decade later, she has begun mixing to bless the dancefloor with her luscious selections. She is a resident DJ and graphic designer for the Berlin based TILT label.

Groove Provider Podcast Series 012 - HAMY

V3G4 inició su interés por la música electrónica desde pequeño, influenciado por su madre y cassettes de Trance Factory con canciones como The Night Train y Fórmula 1 de DJ Visaje, además de Interstella 5555 en Canal 13.

En 2013 comenzó a escuchar dubstep y, para 2016, se enfocó en el techno y el goa trance, dando forma a un proyecto que explora emociones como la melancolía, la tristeza y la ira, a través de escalas menores y paisajes sonoros.

En 2018 inició en la producción musical, publicando sets y temas que lo llevaron a su primer podcast internacional. Desde entonces, se ha presentado en Madrid, el club Uarhaus en Tunja y, en 2023, debutó en Antisistema con dos presentaciones: una en el main y otra en el cubo.

Actualmente, V3G4 sigue desarrollando su proyecto, explorando sonidos introspectivos y energético.

Este set es bastante especial para nosotros, consideramos que es un selector increíble, esperamos lo disfruten.

For the eleventh edition of Infra’s Mix Series, we are beyond excited to welcome Berlin-based Mos. Mos is an artist who is deeply influenced by a wide variety of global styles and techno cultures. He is not a DJ who is scared to be emotionally vulnerable in his sets, and he does not stray away from prioritizing listener experience. MOS’ sound is distinctly unique while pulling from classic Detroit, driving Berlin, and New York underground genres. Every set is a masterful puzzle of diverse rhythm and sound design centered around DJ-crowd connection. Coming from a New York background, MOS is no stranger to the energy of a packed dance floor. Further informed by a residency at Rome’s collective, “Resistance is Techno” and by the vibrant cultures of Kyiv and Berlin, Mos’ style is entirely specific and yet eternal. 

In this mix he brings the power through groove and drive, creating a transient space that exists out of time or place. Full of powerfully beautiful reverberating synths and constantly layered percussion, this mix is full of highs and lows, euphoria and dysphoria, and it is sure to keep you dancing.

It is an honor to welcome OZUM to the 33rd edition of Set the Mood. As the writer, I would like to introduce this talented DJ with Turkish roots, who delivered a fantastic opening set, skillfully setting the tone for the night. She achieved this by seamlessly weaving dubby sounds, extended melodies, and a dynamic interplay between 4x4 rhythms and other patterns.

For OZUM, the essence of a perfect opening set lies in the ability to craft an experience that resonates deeply with the audience. Her process begins with carefully selecting tracks, each of which she envisions stepping onto the dance floor herself, gradually finding the rhythm and attuning to the evolving energy as new faces join the space. She believes a truly compelling opening set should unfold naturally, letting the intro and the broader musical journey develop organically over time.

Originally from Istanbul and now based in Nijmegen, OZUM is a rising artist with a distinct musical identity. Her residencies at Planet Rose, Ravelution, and Blanco in Nijmegen have solidified her presence in the electronic music scene. Beyond these, she has graced the decks at numerous renowned venues and events across the Netherlands. Her sets are characterized by a hypnotic, powerful rhythm, underpinned by raw drone sounds, hard-hitting percussion, and ethereal pads, creating a deep and engaging flow that captivates her audience.
