Rising through the ranks, Dyslecta has firmly asserted himself as an innovative talent amongst the UK circle. Building forward-thinking club weapons that challenge the listener with unknown twists, whilst complimenting his heritage in UK breaks & rave. An expert in music production & sound design, the Yorkshireman has evolved into a weighty talent, encompassing DJing and creative design into his armoury. 

Another member of our family, Dyslecta released his ‘B&H Black’ EP on Ape-X Records last August. The debut EP speaks of a depth of understanding that belies his tender years and hints at a very exciting future. Since then he has moved forward with a number of well-received releases on Dim Sum, Out of Sorts & Paradiso. Gaining regular recognition from Zenker Brothers, Moxie, Emerald (Radio 1) and Tom Ravenscroft (BBC Radio 6).

Dyslecta offered a few words around his positive outlook on his experience as a producer during lockdown, as he looks ahead to clubs reopening…

“I have been getting loads of plays and feedback off people I really respect so to see them enjoying my music is a massive sign of gratification for me and I’m excited to hear my tracks played out at clubs and festivals”

Dyslecta has designed a mix that takes the listener on a warping path through built up tension, UK broken beats, 4/4 techno, slapped-out grime & jungle. We invite him to showcase his crafting ability as the 4th APECAST guest.

@dj-love-uk is a London-based newcomer whose name practically exploded onto the scene. Known for his old school sound mixed with newer elements, he tries to bring a bit of everything to his sets. 

Releasing on labels such as Beardman, Pretty Weird and Wavelengths, DJ Love's discography is rich with club bangers, receiving support from artists such as Kettama, Mark Broom, Interplanetary Criminal and many more. 

While hype only lasts so long, DJ Love isn’t going anywhere - with support from the scene’s biggest touring acts and a rapidly-growing fan base, it’s hard to deny he brings something to the table we’ve never seen before.
