Known for his icy and atmospheric sounds, Paavo Piekkari aka APEAK burst onto the scene in 2018 with “Creed” - a spectacular debut, followed by ”Desolate” EP, released on Signal Life. Since 2020 he has released four EP’s under the Nori Kin (Exploited Body) founded label Changeless. APEAK has a sense for melodies sung by disembodied, synthesised voices meshed with cavernous drums and heady soundscapes that come together to form a distinct and singular palette. Seamlessly blending the worlds of techno, ambient, noise, contemporary pop music & even elements of rap, APEAK’s music invokes the feeling that could only be born in the deep winters and short summers of the northern hemisphere.

In addition to his solo work, APEAK has worked with some of the contemporary music scenes most interesting names like Queendyster, Varg²™ and Felix Lee . Paavo Piekkari is also a member of duo Hollowland.
