Peak Hour Invisibilty

Was feeling inspired today and stepped outside my comfort zone as I don't usually play slow drone/doom type of stuff. Nor am I a confident lead player. This shines a light on both.

Bleak

For a uni project I had to choose and then transcribe the elements from 3 different songs, drums, bass and a melody and then turn it into an original work.
For the drums I chose 'Dang!' by Mac Miller Ft. Anderson Paak.
For the bass I chose 'Can't Stop' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
For the melody I chose the main guitar line from 'Purple Haze' by Jimi Hendrix.
I wasn't entirely sure how to get the full bass line from Can't Stop to work so I used the key notes that it follows, played it through a synth and then the "flow-y" feel is what I settled on.
I transcribed and played the drums on a Launchkey.
For the melody, once I worked out the notes to the main riff I also played it on my Launchkey.
Hoping to turn this into a full track at some stage.

Find your vibe.
For most of us music is one of the most unalienable, ritualistic and personal things. Yet it is also one of the most subjective things we experience. We all resonate and vibrate to different frequencies, at different levels. 
However there is one undeniable truth in that when we feel it. WE. FEEL. IT.
And when we vibrate and share that same frequency with others there is nothing more uplifting.
So I ask you to join me on my journey and hopefully with my art I can create something that you and I can vibe with together.
