FLR is pleased to announce its new reference on cassette. For this occasion, he bets for the first work of Social Noise, Russian artist that will give much to talk about in the future. Six tracks full of dark and tantric rhythms close to neotrance, with touches of EBM and Electro. Developing acid melodies that will make your mind fly from St. Petersburg to Goa, passing through a Valencian room in the 80's imparting bases with new beat hammer blows. 

BIO: 
Social Noise is the Moscow musician combines dark and tantric rhythms close to neotrance, with touches of EBM and Electro using analog gear. 

Listing to his musical inspiration Skinny Puppy, Autechre, Cris and Cosey, Throbbing Gristle, Burzum, Darkthrone, Kino, Nochnoy Prospect he played in different metal and coldwave bands. Once decided to play electronic music, he organized many underground parties, and has played in different clubs of Moscow - Mutabor, RNDM, ДИЧ, Dissident etc. Recently his Music gained the attention of Nikita Zabelin’s label «Resonance Moscow» and he participated their showcase «Коррозия» on Moscow Music Week in RNDM club and presented mix of music on the radio show «Resonance» at 92.4 FM. His tracks was played by a lot of DJs, in a Different platforms in particular at HOR Berlin.

LOD presents a journey inside analog machines and science fiction movies.
Two producers from different countries had split the release with their sounds and their musical attitudes.

Lost SoundBytes is a Brussels Based young producer that develops an haptic music, diving sometimes into cryptic and anxious foggy areas through analog materials experimentations, as drum machines & synthetisers like Poly 61, AcidLab Bassline 3 , Wardolf Blofeld.

Sebastian Swarm aka Kiwisubzorus on the sea comes from France his three tracks are full lo-fi acid music, imprinted by a cosmic sight and chicago house' quotes.

PREMIERE // New Fabrik - Perfecto Asesino [Smashing Tape Records]

In Aeternam Vale is an electronics fanatic who has experimented continually with the analogical synths and old rhythm boxes in his collection. To this day his music remains incredibly powerful, cold and caustic and takes cues from punk rock nihilism and aggression. He was in a band back in the eighties but also was inspired by Kraftwerk and conjured up his own inhuman musical universe with haunting singing front and centre. His nightmarish atmospheres also come with a sense of satire and humour and though confrontational in nature, are hugely rewarding. His visceral relationship with music has played out with releases on Minimal Wave and went on to take in trance-techno, ambient and even house in recent decades. Opening up is ‘La Plage’, with vulnerable vocals lost in a mix of jittery drums and hits that are innocent yet powerful. It’s a brilliantly unusual sound that is both danceable yet emotional. The stiff and coarse ‘Bathroom’ has deadpan vocals and flat footed drums. The edginess of the voice is offset by a more playful melody and the whole thing prowls at a slow and predatory pace. From there, ‘Rattlesnake’ rides rough on a corrugated bassline as metallic hits light up the groove like a strobe. Mangled vocals add a layer of grime and eeriness while the drums work you into a slow motion dance that will send clubs wild. Last of all, ‘The Missionary’ is the most industrial and brutalist of the lot, with gauzy textures, drilling bass and dystopian moods all finished with a voice that is refracted around the mix. This is utterly thrilling and fresh sounding electronic music that is truly timeless.

The first X-IMG vinyl is the result of over a year’s worth of planning culminating in a tightly curated 6 track compilation. “Dystopia in Action” is the 12” successor to the previous & internationally focused “Self-Aware” cassette compilation series, featuring artists who have been part of the label’s slow yet steady cult like spread over the last 5 years. Also included on the compilation are more established artists previously unreleased by the label such as Qual & Kris Baha.

The 12” v/a serves as a laser guided & bludgeoning sampler of fresh underground acts operating within the wider scope of club oriented contemporary dark electronic music. Artists from Colombia, Greece, Denmark, Canada, France & Germany are represented here.

Dystopia in Action [X-IMG10] 12" Previews

Idlestates is a project from Ethan Anderson and Vladimir Toumantsev which launched as a podcast series in 2019. Based in Scotland they look to bring a new element to the already potent Scottish electronic music scene with a string of cassette releases in 2020. Their first compilation, No Portions Volume 1, features the artists; Nghtly, Bad Faith Actor, Harvest of Sorrow, Ludgate Squatter, Black Dahlia, ZAAK, JGB, Swaerm, Puck and Maniaque Nocturne.

The 10 Artists VA moves through Electro-EBM spectrum focusing its sound in a realm of harsh, industrialism and post punk elements. 

Puck, an alias of label head Ethan Anderson, pieces together elements of slow burning downtempo style electro along with haunting vocals on the track ‘Bogus’.
