The first instalment of our brand-new mix series comes to us from Paris.

Out of Body, established in 2023, is a music project blending various genres like Italo disco, indie dance, house styles and trance. He recently joined the French Parisian collective Apéro Notturno. The project's name signifies its goal to lead audiences on a transcendent sonic journey, merging genres and creating an immersive experience filled with energy and emotion: an adventure out of your body.

Meet your Carma, Feel our Impulse

Salut, c’est Guillaume et Mathieu, aka Colapso et Cham’, aka nous, pour un nouveau départ. 

Nous nous sommes rencontrés il y a un peu plus de 2 ans grâce à la communauté Apéro Notturno, co-fondée par Guillaume et rejointe officiellement par Mathieu il y a quelques mois. Après plusieurs dates ensemble, nous avons relevé quelques atomes crochus.

Bref, on devait faire avancer ce projet que nous lançons officiellement pour célébrer et concrétiser notre vibe musicale commune à travers ce duo : Carma Impulse.

Le projet artistique, c’est une faille spatio-temporelle, un tour musical entre l’euphorie de l’OG italo des 70’s - 80’s, les drums groovys de la house 90’s et la puissance du son des raves trances des années 90’s - 2000. Vous vous imaginez que ça bouge, comme si vous étiez sous l’effet d’une potion druidique. Et cette potion, vous pouvez l’écouter dans le set en bio qu’on a enregistré pour vous partager notre mood.

Ca bounce, çacide, ça scintille, c’est plein d’énergie et ça déborde de joie.

I kept delaying the release of my set at @no9nyc on September for the @phattraxlabel release party

This set is special as it reflects the @djheartstring -like and speed garage artistic direction I want to take more - especially with my new project @carmaimpulse alongside with @mathieucham ☄️

Some tracks were already released 2-3 months ago - which is considered "old" in the electronic scene - but I still wanted to take pride in releasing this mix ✨

On a le plaisir de vous annoncer qu'on accueille officiellement @mathieucham comme nouveau membre du collectif 🎉

Membre de notre commu Synth Connection depuis 2 ans et après avoir aidé sur certains évènements, it's a match 🥰

Fils adoptif de Paris 19, son aventure de DJ a commencé dans des caves angevines en 2012 par l'organisation de soirées avec ses potes. Depuis, il n'a qu'une devise : “Célébrez la musique. Tout le temps. Tous les jours. Et sous toutes ses formes” 🎧🎶💿

Pour goûter aux sonorités qui l’inspirent, c'est un mélange d’Indie Dance, dilué par une variété de House (italo-, prog-, hard-), le tout coupé à l’OG Italo et agrémenté de Trance. Son ambition est de créer une énergie remuante, perpétuelle et euphorique pour les danseureuses 💃🕺

Le but : distribuer un scintillant cocktail de synthés pour le public 💫

Pour lui, "Apéro Notturno, c’est une forme de “chez lui” musical. Et donc une rareté, un précieux qu’il faut entretenir, développer et magnifier " ❤️

Il constitue également une moitié de @carmaimpulse avec @colapso_dj ☄️

Pour l'occasion, il a enregistré un set complètement "club" à l'image de son mood musical actuel.
