An amalgamation of rock and hip hop with a pop flavour. “My Souls Older” has an upbeat, urban rap sound.  It is street with a horror rap style melody. 
The drum and bass pattern is very energetic and intense.  It brings a good bounce to the record melody.  The vocal performance is mixed with a rap and a harmonic delivery.
