Erika (Part 2)

Heart of the Nearest Star, an electroacoustic duo from the Tellico Plains in Tennessee, merges gothic folk with experimental electronica. Driven by beats and vocals, their heavy, ethereal tracks are dark, psychedelic, and intimate. These are haunted songs of poetry and prisons, omens and ecstasies, breakdowns and prayers.
Pushing boundaries in concert with the shift to autumn, Futility is a haunted track with sweeping, melancholic layers of lush, ethereal vocals. Driven by saturated synths and witchhouse beats, fragile hope emerges from the dark. Hope is the seed that sleeps. Even behind the bars, it grows. “I’ll have no more of roses, I said. Then closed the door.” 
This is Futility, the third single from HNS’s forthcoming album: Songs from the Silence. Futility follows the single Kites (2023) and three EPs: Crow (2023), The Rack and the Wheel (2022), and Blueberry Tree (2021).

After spending a lot of time listening to very deep, ambient, and relaxing music, I found my new journey creating music following the same path.

Please enjoy my very first release.  Ambient Love is just a relaxing and flowing melody that really pulls all the stress out of me.

Being musician and artist "since ages", the last two decades and all the developments in digital music broadened my interests and activities in doing music actively and passively. Not being shy of any genre (OK, leave off some Punk and Extreme Metal derivates) I engage in composing, arranging, mixing and collaborating. 

Oh, and I do all my artwork and designs as well.
