Sol Selectas welcomes back Ayala (IT) to the label with a single featuring Kenyan singer Nes Mburu titled “Njambi”. The release also features 2 remixes by Djeff and Jaykill. 

The original is pure deep afro house with the beautiful voice of Nes Mburu telling a love story of playful  flirtation between himself and a woman he admires, all sung in his native Swahili language. 

On the Alt Mix, Ayala strips back some of the electronics arps, adding a guitar groove and some ethereal synths, letting the vocals shine once again. 

Djeff is an Afro House legend from Portugal / Angola, and his take really brings in the contemporary sound of modern Afro Tech, with a peak time groove, darker electronic stabs, and an epic build up. 

French producer Jaykill delivers a fourth version, complete with piano chord progressions, and solid afro drums,  perfect for those sunset moments of bliss. 

The artwork by Helia Jamali portrays the romance deep in the jungles of Africa.
