Welcome back to the Depth Perception Sessions for another excursion into the minds of the finest electronic music producers in the scene. 

This week we welcome the very talented Austrian, Martin Kremser to the show.

Bio:

The career of this young musician started in 2003 in a pretty conspicuous way. Martin did some Hip Hop and Trip Hop productions and already had some of his output played at the Austrian alternative radio scene (FM4). 

After a few years of engagement as a Drum&Bass producer and dj this talented musician alternated his musical style again and started to produce Minimal Techno. Soon the first releases followed and different labels all around the globe started to take an interest in Martins music. 

Always trying to broaden his horizon, Martin moved on to create Deephouse in 201 3 which led to the greatest success so far, a contract with the German based label DIYNAMIC MUSIC owned by mastermind Solomun. 

Today the Austrian musician is already known for his energetic sets, his open minded character and acts as some kind of insiders tip in the scene.

Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany but originally connected to the roots of the beautiful island of Mauritius. MEL BELL began her musical journey already as a child. Since early childhood she developed her passion for music. She played on various instruments to create her own melodies and thus set the course for the path to electronic music. She always follows herself and designs excellent music that are regularly released on well-known international labels. She completed numerous projects, including classical recordings. Her strengths lie in the development of melodies, and creating that special groove. For her, music is a deep feeling that is marked by freedom and self determination. It is the happiness of a soul to be able to decide this moment by yourself.

DHP Guestmix #169 - MEL BELL

Magnitude Recordings is proud to show you the label debut by new kid on the block Sculptor. The artist from Moscow stood out in between the labels' demo submissions and Francesco Pico was more than happy to give him a podium to showcase his sound which resulted in 'Full Moon', the single you have in front of you right now.

'Full Moon' is a raw, chunky groover which blends mysterious vocal snippets with timeless psychedelic elements of progressive- and tech house. A proper peak time dance floor burner, ready to please many party goers and DJ's alike.

First up on remix duties it's Dutch veteran producer Namatjira who is known for his high quality output on labels such as Armada, Anjunadeep, Manual Music and Click Records to name a few. His stellar remix is sure to please the progressive house elite. It's a true delight as we've come to expect from this guy over the years.

The second remix comes from another Dutch industry veteran, though Sandeep only really started making serious work of his productions since the past year or so, immediately resulting in releases on 90watts, Aftertech Records and die Stube. His remix is deep and dreamy, a lovely flowing trip for the mind and a perfect contrast to the other two mixes on this single.

May it be the raw and chunky original, the proggy Namatjira version or the dreamy Sandeep interpretation, there truly something for everyone to enjoy on this one!

I had so much fun playing at this party and feel so happy when I look back and think of all the smiling faces on the dancefloor. From the bottom of my heart <3 huge thank you to Jessica for asking me to play at this event and hats off for all the hard work you put into organising this gig and the success you made of it.
