Transensations Records is pleased to welcome the Argentinian producer Nico Cerban presenting the single RHUIA , alongside powerful remixes by the producers André Moret from Brazil and Evegrem from Argentina.
The main track is a powerful , deep progressive, on a bed of crisp percussive rhythms and a vocal running throughout intertwines with pads and sonics to weave a personal journey towards the stratosphere.
André Moret delivers his characteristic uplifting vibes, with peculiar atmospheres and grooves,bringing that fresh uplifting terrace vibe to the track. Evegrem created his reinterpretation, adding a hypnotic groove into a rolling bass and an emotional breakdown, imprinting his personal touch to the track.

Staying in ‘The America’s’ for our next release, we head south, back to Buenos Aires, Argentina the South American nerve centre and heartbeat of Progressive House. 

There we are thrilled to welcome this next pair of artists to the onedotsixtwo family, Maximo Gambini & Q.A.T aka Leandro Maldonado.  These two very bright rising stars of the global progressive scene have been on fire of late with a string of remixes that have been getting regular plays on Hernan Cattaneo’s Resident show as well as his club and festival shows worldwide. This is their first original EP as a duo with both artists having had great success on labels such a Sound Avenue and One of a Kind. 

The lead track ‘Stochastic Process’ is a beautifully crafted melodic journey of sound that builds into a melancholic breakdown before the large drop, enough to make any dancefloor swing sideways. ‘One Sided Thoughts’ takes the path of a more hypnotic journey that weaves a softy gated vocal and smooth pads and effects with a whirring baseline that kicks like mule. 

On remix duties we welcome back long-time label afficionado Weird Sounding Dude who has applied his meticulous sound design to ‘Stochastic Process’ keeping true to the original whilst adding his signature sound, and Turkish artist Hakan Onuzur, who after a short musical hiatus is back in the studio, has a delivered an amazing interpretation of ‘One-Sided Thoughts’ showcasing to everyone, that he’s an artist who should be on your radar.

'Montreal-based producer Tyler W makes his debut as an artist with a fantastic first release on Hicky & Kalo's label Plaisirs Sonores Records. His track 'Scorpion Rising' is a melancholic piece filled with beautiful melodies.

On remix duties, Erdi Irmak changes the tone of the track to create a gentle and pleasing organic house ballad. The handsome flute and enchanting bird sounds form an appeasing symbiosis.

Last but not least, Paul Kardos twists the original track into a progressive house weapon that will hypnotize the dancer with driving drums and emotive synth.

Ending the year on a high having witnessed a plethora of musical highlights, Meanwhile has been a shining beacon for progressive house throughout 2021. Now, Australian, Mike Rish, becomes the latest debutant to showcase his talents on GMJ & Matter’s blossoming imprint with the 3-track “Beyond” EP.
 
From his home on Australia’s south-eastern coast, Mike Rish has witnessed an impressive rise to notoriety, courtesy of a clutch of high-profile releases on an exclusive set of blue-chip labels. Not wanting to flood the progressive house scene with a swathe of formulaic dance music, the Melbourne resident’s “selective output” is based on a carefully thought-out commitment to “keep people engaged, but also wanting more”. Thus, Rish’s work for the likes of Colorize, Serendeep and Juicebox Music, has seen the Australian carve out a sizeable niche for himself, further enhanced by March 2021’s 12-track “Interlinked” album for UGENIUS Music.

Opening his Meanwhile account with the “Beyond” title track, a chunky beat and cavernous bass groove sit tightly against off-beat hats and snare. Filtering into sonic range, an elegant arpeggio provides glorious melodic interplay as white-noise washes and meandering pads pulse gently across the near 10-minute piece. Full of spine-tingling atmosphere, additional melodic phrasing is introduced at the breakdown before extending into the third movement with ease, combined with a raft of effects and masterful touches.
 
A bouncing bass groove immediately finds “Mindgame” oozing with hypnotic force and low-end menace. Sat perfectly in between deep kick and ticking hats, a flowing melodic line ripples across proceedings as it rises and falls with filtered dynamism. Twisted vocal cuts and acetylene-edged synth effects pitch with glissando range adding to the aural collage in a track full of dark and mesmerising beauty.

 Closing the EP, “Here For You” is characterised by an intricate percussive arrangement that introduces a subtle melodic backdrop. Effects and textured pads span the stereo stage in modulated glory as a pulsating lead melody enters the fray in the second movement. Building steadily before revealing itself fully in the stripped back breakdown, the second half blossoms in commanding fashion with a pulsating confluence of rhythm and melody. The result is a track that illustrates Mike Rish’s unique talent and technique.
 
A musical triptych full of innovation and sonic narrative, Mike Rish has gone above and “Beyond” with a glittering display of production prowess.

'Agnosia Black continues a strong start to the year with a new single from label boss DJ Choopie and Golan Zocher. The former, based in Israel, lays claim to over two decades of production work and releases via long-standing imprints such as Bedrock and Yoshitoshi. Meanwhile, Colombian born, Israel based artist Golan Zocher has enjoyed similar success across his five-year career, landing releases via Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Beatfreak and Clubsonica Records.
