A new Family Robot arrives at the household. Dad switches it on and Family Robot is very excited, playing a robo-saxophone all over the house. It starts going crazy and Mum is concerned. Family Robot calms down and starts to express its joy of being part of a family through song.

Dad tests out the robot's manual controller but Family Robot starts dancing instead. Then it goes crazy again and the kids love it. Finally Dad manages to switch Family Robot off.

What.Hack is a puzzle game that requires players to use context clues and deductive reasoning to figure out which emails to forward and which ones to trash. Spam emails are based on common social engineering and phishing attacks.

As far as effort going into a single track, this song likely far exceeds pretty much anything else I ever worked on. Whether or not the final product lives up to the enormous amount energy I poured into it, I learned a lot and I believe definitely grew from the experience. 

This song was written as the final chapter in a story about the next stage in the evolution of the universe, involving a confrontation between the oldest race of beings and the creator of the universe itself, a being unable to comprehend the existence of any consciousness outside of its own, having existed for an unfathomable length of time in complete isolation before accidentally birthing reality out of its own loneliness. 

Along for the ride is an intrepid wide-eyed group of human explorers unwittingly caught up in this reality redefining event.

Thanks for giving me an opportunity to work on this collaboration! I did have some troubles opening up the midi, using fl studios 11. So sadly I could not work more on the break/drop without butchering the melody. The dry vocals are from Producer Space and are free royalty. I used some ad libs to combine to make the vocals and created a vocal chop out of them.
