Following a great bunch of releases this year via Be As One, Eat And Beat or in our sister label Bump Cut, Alex Wellmann shows an authentic predisposition to produce an effective peak time tech-house which is working very well and gaining the likes of DJs and producers all over the world. Title cut Lazer Beam opens things with broken beats, pumping basslines and punchy kicks showing the taste of Alex Wellmann in old-school beats. Next up, 'Funk Connected' follows that old-school vibe with the use of the vintage break and the chopped vocal. Simple and effective. As icing in the cake, an spoken hip-hop vocal sets the rhythm of 'Oh No!'. The sharp hi hats playing with the snares brings an intense feeling across the cut. Released in late April, 'Rude Boy' marks Menary's first EP on our Roush Label. Although he has released a couple of great songs on some of our acclaimed Various Artists, The Canarian producer shows off his multiple production skills and influences within this new two-track EP which earned support from label boss Hector Couto. Just one month after releasing a great work on our growing BumpCut Label, we can say without hesitate that Menary is in a good shape as he shows on 'Rude Boy'. Opener tittle cut, sets the dancefloor mood with a catchy tech-house beat that plays raw until the rich chords make an stunning appearance. Next up, 'Ruffneck Tunes' plays a real homage to hip-house infused beats, not only with the clear mention we find just looking to the tittle. There's also a broken rythm provided by an old-school sample that plays alongside the track that makes you lose the control of your feet.

Twisted Fusion label boss Apollo 84 has taken the global house scene by storm in 2016 with his energetic driving sounds. His music has gathered the attention of Steve Lawler’s Viva Music which saw him releasing his first ep with the infamous label, and gaining Radio 1 support from non other than Pete Tong. Previously to this Apollo 84 had seen success with Spanish giants Elrow music, and Kerri Chandlers MadTech imprint to name but a few, looking forward to 2017 and Apollo 84 has music being released by Incorrect Music, Leftwing & Kody’s Lost imprint, and Hector Couto’s Roush label. Whilst Apollo 84’s own imprint Twisted Fusion continues to gain support with big releases from the likes of Jey Kurmis, Jacky, Max Chapman, Anek, Seff, Paul C & Paolo Martini to name but a few. 2017 certainly looks like being another big year for Apollo 84 cementing himself as one of the top global artists within the tech house scene.
