Boozoo Bajou get better and better. It's now more than 17 years since the duo of Peter Heider and Florian Seyberth first put out a record, and 16 since their project began – and the latest album ‘4’ is without question the record of their career, and more than worthy addition to Apollo's illustrious catalogue to boot. 

'4' is, very simply, an astounding piece of work: packed with craft, sophistication, intrigue, mystery, seduction and most of all an absolute dedication to the pursuit of out-and-out beauty, it easily transcends basic categories and expectations and stands alone as a shining example of what 21st century music can and should sound like.

The ‘Hirta EP’ is a natural companion piece to the ‘4’ album including two tracks ‘Amoniard’ and ‘Loss Of Big Nicks’ written in the album sessions.  They continue the horizontal theme of the album and mine the same blues, jazz and dub influences. 
One remix duties are ‘Red Axes’ the Tel Aviv based production duo who have released on Throne Of Blood and Kill The DJ they twist S.A.E. into their signature 
sleazy, nu-wave disco vibes.
Fellow artist Gacha gets to grips with ‘Phonetrik’ and updates it with a steady 4/4 pulse and house shuffle.
Dr. Atmo is something of a chillout legend, with albums on the classic Fax label and a residency at the legendary XS club in Frankfurt.  His mix stays faithfull to the dubwise original, but adds some slinky additional percussion to give it a more jazzy feel.
