the rising star Mark Mywords takes to the helm on remix duties. Crunching percussion and well produced soundscape that locks you in to its accomplished creation.
"Motion Tracker' is a tasty workout, deep, yet solid and driving while it meanders. Dubby tinged and serious, this is a wonderful slab of coolness.
Drogo gets to grip with the remix duties here,. His appearances on City Seven and Stripped have already caused a bit of a fuss, and its why the KYUBU team kept at this opportunity for him to remix. This fierce and mind twisting reinterpretation toughens things right up, retaining the moodier vibe from the original but adding a gnarly teeth gritting feel.
'Those Who Dance' is a groovy deep little number, with its cheeky swagger setting the tine before the emotive deep strings change the vibe, creating a cool tension and deepness.
Game & Theory are on remix duties here to round things off nicely. This explosive double act that draws its style from a wide range for styles such as breaks, electro, house, trip- hop and dub-step. This creates a truly unique sound. Here their rework brings a lighter edged vibe, perfect for the sunnier days, as this rework conjures up images of cocktails and dancing on the beach.

Art Departments Natural Selection album is the gift that keeps on giving, with recent stunning remixes by DJ Tennis and Chaim of Walls now followed by an excellent mix package of Kisses for Roses. The remix duties for this latest offering come courtesy of US house stars The Martinez Brothers and Bostonian funk masters Soul Clap. First to step forward on this new Kisses for Roses remix package are Objektivity aligned pair The Martinez Brothers, who also run their own Tuskegee Music label with Seth Troxler. Energetic and hugely talented in the booth and the studio, there are few hotter acts in the world right now. Their take on the Art Department original is a robust, kicking house track with tons of kinetic energy, barreling drums and spritely synths that squelch about at a high tempo. Its a big hitting, high impact version with a real sense of emotion coming from the pained vocals and is sure to soar this summer. Little needs to be said of funk champions Soul Clap, who as well as running their own label, being part of Crew Love, releasing on Wolf & Lamb and collaborating with George Clinton are also revered DJs who have spun at every party worth its salt. Here they turn out two versions, the first is a loose limbed, soul infused and mid tempo house jam with muffled voices adding plenty of atmosphere to the track. Funky drums, crisp percussion and squelchy synths all make for a charmingly steamy yet sensitive rework and the spoken word vocals really finish it off in style. Their second version is a dub that is even deeper, more sensuous and seductive with its humid pads and gloopy, snaking synths.

Here we are to present a “Remix release” from German Brigante! No Original Mix, only remixes! Inside we can find two remixes! 
 
First version is made from one of the best artists of the moment, top DJ of the British house music. 

Please welcome Richy Ahmed. 

He’s one of the heads behind the big label Hot Creations,  steadily searching new vibes and fresh grooves, taking inspiration from disco, techno, funk, electro and hip-hop.

Groove and nature are the words of this release, and Richy perfectly connected these things, making an amazing result with his version! After a few seconds of listening perfectly understand that this track will be a killer tune! The voice begins early, and it grows up with a pounding filtered drum together with a classical techno chord that catch you completely off guard. The dark relentless bass line accompanies all the track into a “wild” moment of the night! It's totally sure that this track is created to do damage to dance floors worldwide. Annie Mac already played it as Exclusive Track on her BBC Radio 1 show! 
 
The second mix was prepared by the homie Luca Donzelli! Summer is already with us, and he decided to re-work the original track in a more happy and house way! We can feel perfectly his touch, passing trough heavy bass line, lot of synths taken and re-worked from the original track, with pure energy! First part of the track goes up till the first breakdown, with a very long old house square sound, that makes a good “re-start” with only kick, bass line, and really high detailed woody background! The looped voice, together with a pad, makes a a warm mid part of the track until the last breakdown, where a short synth organized in a phased melody makes a huge energy, before the track ends.
 
We are really proud to present this special release that has so big material for this summer! Both tracks surely, will entry directly in your sets, from techno to house and tech-house!

With the original release marking Rekids return from hiatus, Radio Slave's The Clone Wars is now revisited with a trio of new interpretations from three distinctive talents on house & techno.

On the A side, Markus Suckut moulds the original into the kind of no-nonsense rolling techno jam that has personified his releases for Mosaic and Figure. The B side enlists two US talents in the shape of Parris Mitchell and DJ Spider, with the former bringing a glitchy take on the jacking Chicago house that Mitchell perfected in his timeless productions for Dance Mania, and the latter shaping the track into crunchy weirdo techno that sits perfectly alongside his output for The Trilogy Tapes and his own NY-based Plan B Recordings.

British producer wAFF has been making waves in recent years, reflecting on a diligent 2015 spent playing across the likes of Europe, Africa, Asia and the States, when not making routine appearances at Paradise, Ibiza. As a producer he’s dropped several lauded releases on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations imprint, not to mention Matthias Tanzmann’s Moon Harbour and Sven Väth’s Cocoon, with his next outing landing on renowned Swedish label Drumcode run by techno titan Adam Beyer.

Laying down hard hitting kicks from the off, ‘Holographic’ churns out an undulating synth combined with shuffling hats and a cavernous low-end, before ‘VibrationZ’ employs a low-slung groove fashioned from a sultry bassline, floating chords and sinister vocal. Tying it together, ‘Syncronistic’ is on a more heads down tip with whirring atmospherics, crunchy snares and subtle 303 squelches for a lengthy and mesmerising piece of production.

City Kid Soul - Rockets

While Berlin obviously isn't defined by dark rooms and brutalist 4/4, it's still heartening to receive a fresh package from Germany's cultural capital that falls outside of techno's cold grip. The parcel in question is new from the Splendor & Squalor lads (Brame and Hamo) – a pair originally hailing from Ireland, but now taking firm root in Berlin.

Hamo's EP 'The Cotton Club' is the label's second out the traps, after a weighty first from the duo with remix chops from Session Victim. It's music you can gladly file next to Max Graef, Glenn Astro and their crew's brand of house(-not-house). Vinyl crackle and sighing Rhodes lines abound, all beefed up with low-slung kicks and crafty sampling. Our pick of the litter is the silk-smooth title track: a wonderfully deep house jam with a hip-hop soul. Push play and glide.

Hamo "The Cotton Club" - Boiler Room Debuts

Len Faki is synonymous with contemporary techno. The Berlin based producer, DJ, and label owner resolutely does not fuck about. Known best for being a resident at Berghain, Faki's built a reputation as one of Europe's most fearsome selectors. A night with him's a rough ride. In the best way possible.

His latest release on his own label Figure Music is a steely, lithe, minimal wrecking ball of a record and we are absolutely delighted to be bringing you the premier of the title cut "Street Dub". Enjoy.

Matt Edwards (Radio Slave) returns to his Rekids label under the guise of B.A.D.S (Berlin Amateur Dramatics Society) - a new project cooked up with Spencer Parker and Francesco de Nittis aka Mr Ties, in order to release this track he made especially for an appearance at de Nittis' Homopatik party at Berlin's About Blank last year. 

Since debuting the track it has gone on to become not only an anthem for the party itself (the a capella has become a regular a favourite Mr Ties opener for Homopatik sets), but a go-to crowdpleaser for a handful of DJs such as Nina Kraviz who have drawn for its infections energy over the past year. 

Imbued with all the infamous mischief of Homopatik and the historical clubbing lineage the party is rooted within within, Hous-O-Matik Hom-O-Patik does everything you would expect it to: it gets the party started. B.A.D.S will return later in the year with Spencer Parker and Mr Ties' own versions of the track.

Mars Today, the burgeoning Los Angeles-via-San Francisco producer multi-instrumentalist has a new EP to shout about. Having already jumped in the lab with Soulection artist ESTA on the single "summatime fine" recently, this next project acts as a pertinent stepping stone. Tropical Fruit is as delectable as the cover artwork suggests.

"Um Dia" is a collaboration with one of the Bay's most talented folk, Gyrefunk. It's the equivalent of a Sunday siesta with a refreshing drink in hand; sumptuous, refreshing and relaxing in equal measure. Samba and electronica combine to concoct the finest fruit punch sound, sweetened even further by Nurse Boogz's vocal stylings.

Today’s Debut runs in tandem with the exciting news of the launch of Cin Cin. The label, headed up by Fort Romeau and Warm’s Ali Tillett, will host an ongoing series of split 12″s featuring friends old and new, in the spirit of collaboration.

With the A-side of opus number #001 (split between Fort and Nick Höppner), “Untitled”, Fort gives us the first taste of what Cin Cin has in store for us. This dreamy techno 909 track is completed with choral panning synths, keeping us guessing for what Höppner’s input will be on the flip.

The first half of the v/a welcomes back some favourite artists with the first track coming from label head and main man himself Jamie Jones, hot off the heels of some far reaching releases as Hot Natured and solo anthems. Parisian artist Traumer makes his Get Physical debut with a 2-track EP, ‘Triade’, and shows us what sets his own flavor apart from typical deep house.
The Original Mix starts innocently enough, with a slow build warming the atmosphere and setting the tone. We feel a great calm being slowly stirred and whisked the various ambient elements, creating an organic feel and a chugging energy. When the time is right; we break through the clouds and bask in a warm sunlight. A beautiful track that holds itself back exactly where it counts. Now the Dub Pong Mix brings a dancefloor groove to the track, but still staying within the organic realm of the original. An almost jungle-like vibe dominates that track as it slowly pours more and more energy onto the floor. An outstanding mix and track on its own, and a brilliant addition to the EP.
