Establishing themselves within the sleek and sultry side of house music, the German duo Submod are the minds behind the Leipzig based label vaertism shared with Mbius. The imprint's debut released featured last year with an impressive eight-track Bandcamp compilation delving into their tasteful shades.

Finding an idyllic match in the subtle and delicate sounds of Submod, Daydream's side project Ethernal focuses on the more laid back and intimate vibe which the German duo deliver exquisitely. Sounds Over Seas is ready to release its very first LP by label founder Julian Bainbridge. The album covers aspects of the Deep House genre in its classic definition, pushing certain boundaries, whilst maintaining the spirit of the genre through feeling and utilising melodies and rhythm to evoke emotions which go beyond the dance floor. Observing the correlation between an artist's name and the music they create can be fascinating. Take "The Deepshakerz" for example, who seem as if they were shaped perfectly for Deeperfect. Their current release, Dirty Loud, is the very manifestation of how deep you can go without abandoning tech elements like keys and percussion. Indeed, their original mix is a beautiful integration of deepness and such elements, and is bound to touch many souls on many after hours. Dennis Cruz’s remix sharpens the tech elements, yet without harming the deepness. His interpretation is an energetic one, and a safe accelerator of any evening's mood. "Dirty Loud" might have some dirty synths, but the outcome is crystal clear beauty.
