What’s the magic about Kryptic Minds music? For me, there’s something very special about their old dubstep releases. So diverse, some absolute bangers, some with a sad edge to it, to get lost in and drift away. As it’s described on last.fm “[their tracks] lead listeners into an edgy otherworld”. Although they are quite old now, they are still held dearly by many heads out there. To quote last.fm again “The future’s dark, the future’s Kryptic Minds”. This mix consists of nine Kryptic Minds tracks I love and one of another artist, Catacombs, because it fitted in the mix. If you like the music, please go and support them! Kryptic Minds Tribute Mix / Part I

It's really such a pleasure for me to have one of my favorite producers here as a guest DJ in the mix for some Moments Of Light 'n Darkness. You find his tracks regularly in my sets. I love his way to interpretate dub techno and dark ambient stuff also. He also has a wide range of styles in his background wether more housy stuff or some weird and sonic eighties flavours.
Now he comes with such a deep and ritch dubby set with so much light and energy. 

Here's what he is saying about it personally: "I've been a fan of Kerstin's MLD series for a while so it's a privilege to be asked to contribute a guest mix. It's a selection of faster, harder tracks which is a side of dub techno I think is often overlooked. I wanted it to be hard and funky but always deep, the kind of mix which would be equally suited to a club or headphones environment. There's a mix of old and new with some great recent releases and a few classics, bookended by my 2 favourite ever dub tech tracks."

SDB - Trainspotter

The Swedish Techno producer APOSTLE produces long everchanging swirls of natural athmospheres along with a thick pulsating beat to keep the track level-headed, drawing his inspiration from the typical Swedish dark moss forests.
Born in Stockholm, he has played local forest rave events - most within the Psychedelic community.

Starting out with Psychedelic Trance early in his music career, he moved on to Athmospheric Techno to develop a more meditative sound while also accounting for humans inner desire to dance.
This transition in genres can be heard in his sound, where the Psychedelic vibes reveals itself through long ping-pong delayed Synths paired with an Ethno-esque sound, against the bold repetetive Techno chords that works itself in to the rhythm methodically.
