Sistema de Luz is the monstrous debut album of Zancudo Berraco, a powerful live improvised techno act. Challenging "club ready track" conventions, these are two 20 minute tracks, a couple of progressive kick driven psychedelic trains. Drawing from industrial and acid techno, experimental rave scenes, high bpm trance, fusing darker energies with well established tropes of dance music. But mostly, the sound originates from the musical and physical interaction between Zancudo Berraco and his small eurorack system, designed for energic live improvisation.
These two tracks are careful destillation of the controlled chaos of Zancudo Berraco's performances. Seeking to keep justice to the freeform aspect of a live set, not overproducing it, whilst trying to embue and concentrate the energy of a big soundsystem and the dark euphory of a rave in an digital listening experience. These are meant to be loudly listened as a emotional and psychic narrative, flowing from pulsing state to the next.
