Nine Inch Nails was a big part of my musical landscape growing up and "Hurt" is one of those songs that attached itself to me in the ways good art does—as a mirror, a marker, and a surface for my experience to be projected onto and reflected back transformed.

There's something profound about how certain pieces of music become woven into the fabric of our lives, carrying weight and meaning that shifts and deepens over time. "Hurt" has been that kind of constant for me—a song that has held space for grief, growth, and ultimately healing.

There's something powerful about taking a piece of art that has shaped you and reshaping it in return—finding your own voice within something that helped you find your voice in the first place. 

Art at its best doesn't just reflect our experience back to us; it gives us tools to work through it, to transform it, to make meaning from what might otherwise remain unprocessed.

Audiovoid kicked off 2025 with his epic 15 track album Down With It, the album was well received and gained praise and features on sites like Hearditherefirst, Visual Atelier 8, Beat For Beat, Cosmonautaradio, Zona Emergente and Grauu and a wide range DJ support. He followed it with the single Watch Your Step, that simply melted minds as it was passed around. He is now dropping an absolute arsenal of brain melting, bassface, speaker humping, 'headbanging at the rails’ sort of tunes and they will be coming out as singles, monthly, for the near future.
