After a few months of shows with lovely guest mixes, for the 7th instalment Applied Arts honcho Vigera goes solo, unleashing the uplifting disco and boogie side of his collection. 
Usually kept for the clubs, such selection worked a treat on a sweaty and jam packed cashmere loft on a saturday night, kicking until after 1AM.

Applied Arts Show #7 [live on Cashmere Radio]

The 8th episode of the series features a guest mix by Venezuelan producer @trujillo  
Representing the Cosmic Caribe Sound, Trujillo presents 80 minutes of tropical
lushness, where celestial guitars go hand in hand with subtle flute melodies and
latin percussion grooves. 
Over the second part the organic instruments slowly mutate into soft drum
machines and ethereal synth arpeggios, painting a faded image of a perfect,
immaterial sunset. 
Possibly the most atmospheric episode to date, Trujillo's mix is the soundtrack
to the special remote island in the middle of the ocean, which all of us have in
our fantasies and which we are constantly trying to reach.

Born in the late 80s on stations such as New York's WBLS, Urban AC is the "urban" sister of pop-oriented adult contemporary, is focused on RnB and Black Music with a romantic/sensual character and aimed at soundtracking the leisure time of the slightly more "adult" listener..

The Applied Arts Show is back for its 6th instalment live from the Cashmere loft with @amila_ase of @alteredsoulexperiment fame as guest.
On the first hour Vigera soundtracks love night in the jungle with his mellow r’n’b and soul-jazz selections, on the second Amila makes you shake in slow motion with a flawless mix of 80s boogie tunes.

Gifted Culture is a music collective and a label based in Berlin and revolving
around the Italians TwoThou and Autre. Gifted Culture’s Music is rooted in
improvisation around Jazz and Electronic Music. With the first 3 EP’s dropping
in the first half of 2018, Gifted Culture hosted March 18 Applied Arts show and
showcased some of their favourite tunes.

Gilberto joined us from Hamburg and played a selections of his faves on an exceptionally dancey episode of the Applie Arts Show. The boiling temperatures of the Cashmere Loft suited well the fire of his set, rising from lo-fi jazzfunk grooves to equally jazzy house cuts. One for the books!

In some cultures the number 17 is disregarded and avoided at all costs. To us it
only brought tons of luck in form of the amazing @frinda_di_lanco , who with her
on-point selections contributed to one of the best shows to date.
Devoted digger based in Berlin, Sandra (F.d.L.) showed how deep her records bag
can go, delighting with a softly psychedelic mix of cosmic disco, odd synth pop
and world electronic tresures.
