The Appointment program was launched by Marieu, EMG, John Swing and Lucretio in the early 2010. They started to record coarse functional hardware compositions in the cursory sessions they were able to set up when all the four could summon in the same city. After a couple of seminal releases on LiveJam Records and an official remix made for Moodyman on Decks Reworx, they decided to start their own imprint, with bare handmade ink graphichs on thier white labels and with spare press information and media promotion. To celebrate their 10th release, they have decide to tell the world who they are cutting on vinyl their personal reinterpretation of a live session recorded at the Restoration heaquarters. From Lucretio's post-rave techno, to EMG shrinked deep-house, through Marieu's breakbeat-electro science to John Swing's overloaded hip-house, what you find on this 12" is a true dedication to the sonic quest.

"Les Appointment Royale" is the seventh quest of the Appointment program. 4 organic tracks of mesmerizing techno, ranging from condensed House somnambulism to electrostatic power outages, designed to provoke severe transient faults on the dancefloors.
Composed on hardware, mixed on a veteran analogue desk, recorded live on ferric oxide-formulated tape.

The APPOINTMENT program was started by the founders of Restoration Records and the founders of Live Jam Records. The program was developed in order to release forthright functional dancefloor oriented music on vinyl. The use of computers is not allowed in the development of the program. The recordings must be taken on the first take on magnetic tape. The studio sessions are time minimized, sounds and structures are stripped down to their basic essence; interferences, intraferences, mistakes, and noises cannot be separated from the real performance.Their highly acclaimed seminal tracks released on Live Jam Records led them to an official remix of Moodymann's "I can't kick this feeling when it hits".
