Hailing from the small college-town of Ypsilanti, MI, Approachable Minorities is a rap group consisting of 2 MC's and 1 DJ. Blending conscious hip-hop with party raps and electronic music, the trio have been making waves in the underground scene performing at raging house parties, edm clubs and mini-festivals all over South-East Michigan under the flag of Northern Threat Entertainment. The name Approachable Minorities is a new adventure, with the goal of spreading positivity and harmony thru music and to attempt to break down the walls socity builds up around different ethnic groups in order to prevent the populace from working together! In our eyes, depending on where you are in space or time, anybody could be a Minority....so why not make the best out of it and try to be Approachable instead of fighting your surroundings? Ya never know what fun you might have if you just open your mind!
