Four years after its first output, APRH Records is proud to unveil “Touching Base”. 

This project aims to showcase the wide diversity of subgenres around House Music.  Bringing together a cast of European talents & friends, the 8 tracks double vinyl is heavily influenced by BAM, Soul, R&B and Funk. Altogether, the compilation is all about deepness, soulful harmonies, old school rhythms with hints of modern influences & techniques. 

					TOUCHING BASE I

To start off with the A side is exclusively made by our German friends 

“To the Basement” is a downtempo deep yet sunny number from Berlin duo Nephews. Between the bumpy bassline, lovely breaks & lush chords, this track is the perfect mood lifter. 

“Simpel'' closes this side with a serious heater from the unstoppable Retromigration. The Amsterdam based producer once again delivers a unique blend between sample infused rhythms, flute, synths & tight drumwork.

On the B side, head honcho DimSum delivers his first track “Up & Away” plus a wonderful remix by Swiss legend Alex Attias. On one hand, the original with some 90s R&B samples, trumpet, scatting acappella and entertaining drums, has been made to remind you the good old summer days. On the other hand, the remix is a hypnotic stomper. With deep chords, elaborate drums, sample chops & melancholic synth lines, closes the first vinyl with style.

To start this second vinyl, we have Parisian producer Lucas Moinet, ½ of Groove Boys Project & Keraw. His track “Speed Limit” is one for our 90’s deep house lovers with a hard hitting kick, powerful drums, dreamy synth line with jazzy feeling. Reminiscing us from the golden era of House Music.

On remix duties, there’s no need to introduce the man himself. Retromigration once again proved that he can add his magic touch to any track and turning it into a gem. 

Concluding this compilation on a darker note produced by the homies DJ Pointless & Horsemen. Starting with “Tele”, an infectious UK 90’s house infused track made by Welshman DJ Pointless. Dive into a ravey atmosphere with hints of funk & naughty vocals.

To close up this beautiful “Touching Base” compilation, we have our long time friends Horsemen with “I Want It So Bad”, a deep, strong nostalgic yet deep tune crafted with preciseness & groove. The duo delivers as usual a classy late night schmelter

Touching Base Vol. II - APRH006

Parisian duo Keraw, founder of Studio 937, offer up their new EP ‘In My Soul’ this March via Switzerland’s APRH Record, comprising four originals, one of which is in collaboration with Mario Liberti and Dusty Fingers.

Keraw is the collaborative guise of Paris based duo Bruce Vanderro and Lucas Moinet, over the past few years the pair have been steadily unveiling their take on classic house sounds with a modern twist via the likes of Plastik People Recordings, Groovin Recordings, JASOM and their
own Maestropolis and Planete Keraw labels. 

Here though, the pair join the roster of the DimSum helmed, Switzerland based APRH (Addictive Pleasure Real Healing) Records, a perfect home for
their material with a growing back catalogue of sturdy house cuts on the label since its inception in 2018.

Leading the EP is the ‘In My Soul (937 Main Mix)’, featuring Dusty Fingers & Mario Liberti, laid out across seven and a half minutes with swinging drums, airy chords, glistening keys, tension building strings and classic house inspired vocal chants throughout. 

The ‘Multichord of Madness (MPC Club Mix)’ follows and strips things back to a bumpy bass line, crisp, shuffled percussion, an amalgamation of bright stab sequences and shimmering atmospherics.

‘La Segunda Vibra (Original Club Mix)’ then kicks off the b-side, smoothly drifting back into jazzy house realms through wandering keys, a funk-infused bass line and organic drums before the ‘Midnight Sherbert (Deeper Mix)’ rounds out the EP, fusing resonant synth licks, classic house
chords and a distorted bass groove with a heavily swung, saturated rhythm.

Half a decade later, the crew of ICTV, Nephews, and DimSum return under their solo aliases with a slick new record. This German-Swiss-Lebanese connection known for blending their respective styles, builds on the success of their first EP, while taking their sound into a new direction.

Side A kicks off with “Midnight Mirage,” a smooth, melodic track that mixes tight percussion, soft chords, and a rolling bassline – perfect for easing into a set. “Love Ensemble Theme” follows with deeper beats and rhythms that show the seamless chemistry between the four producers.

On the Side B, “Elevated Workout” ramps up the energy with a punchy, club-ready vibe, packed with whistles, sound effects, and a nod to ‘90s rave energy. It’s been tested on the floor and gets the crowd moving every time.

Two remixes round out the record: Irish Hitmaker Trent Voyage delivers a hard-hitting take on “Elevated Workout,” while Venezuelian Swiss based producer Giorgio Maulini gives “Love Ensemble Theme” a unique breakbeat twist, adding more flavor to the release.

This time it won’t be a five tracker VA but a FOURTEEN tracker VA ! Yes Fourteen ! And for this occasion we took almost the same team but added some new name that won’t leave you indifferent ! Talented producers from all over the world - UK, Germany, Australia, France, Italy, Libanon & Switzerland ! 

Like in APRH001, the compilation will be divided in two parts : 
- The first one will be dedicated to boogie house including jazzy, deep, funky & soulful sonorities 
- The second part will embrace the path of darky & punchy house such as Lo-Fi, Acid, Rapide tones 

Furthermore, this release is also really special to us because 99% of the funds are gonna be donated to our beloved Indonesians friends that were recently hit by more than 1000 earthquakes in less than a month ! (The 1% left is to cover our expanses for the release such as high quality mastering, artwork & distribution)

After eight months without releasing any music, we are back for our first vinyl EP format : Love Ensemble EP - APRH003 ! We are extremely delighted to share this one with you as we already had early support from Black Loops, Harrison Bdp, Carlo & Flabaire <3

But who is Love Ensemble ?

It's a House music quintet founded towards the end of 2018 in Berlin. Consisting of @horsemen_music, @nephyewz and @dimsum-aprh, both duos and the swiss man all met ahead of the second release of Apér’House Recordings. From that point on, they noticed that something needed to be done with the mixture of their respective musical directions.

 A few months after their first gig at MS Stubnitz in Hamburg, they decided to go on a journey deep in the woods of brandenburg, Germany. The unexpected happened, and the love spreading boyband came up with a  4-track EP that will be set to release in June 2019. 

Love Ensemble’s musical identity oscillates between the raw house feeling and micro-house vibe to deliver an ethereal club atmosphere.  Respective owners of: Twofivesix Records, Metro Beirut & Apér’House
