Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of these three musical genres, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys. Dub Inversion is a personal take on Dub music by Andrea Deplano, working under his two aliases: L-3P and Ness. Both identities meet here in a conversation across tempos and textures, where Dub’s deep-rooted essence is reimagined through minimalistic structures and spatial experimentation.

From high energy rhythms to slower, more spacious grooves, the release explores delay, reverb, and repetition with a raw yet refined approach. This is not a nostalgic homage, Dub Inversion is a transformation. A split self reuniting through bass, space, and pulse.

PREMIERE: Silence Groove - Angelic (Offworld Recordings)

It took me a while to start writing electronic music. It all started back in hairy 2004, when my friend and I were recording a guitar on a cassette recorder and singing all sorts of nonsense. I began to realize that I feel music and rhythm well, and closer to 2005 we created a team where I worked exclusively on vocals. At the same time, I started getting interested in Chemical Brothers and Prodigy, and I was thinking that it would be great to incorporate electronics into our songs. Soon the band fell apart, and I decided to pursue electronic music, bought a piano tutorial, a MIDI keyboard, connected it via the MIDI interface to the FL 5, delved into the sequencer, and began writing tracks.....

Now, having more than thirty years of my life behind me, despite my constant work, I continued to do what I always did, I additionally fell in love with techno and its music, and I have accumulated a decent vinyl collection (about 500 records) in this style.
