“The Receiver” is the latest single by electronic duo April + VISTA. Experimenting with a darker and grittier sound, they reenvision a buoyant future with the help of enigmatic Los Angeles rapper Zeroh. While VISTA’s feverish production evokes the digital crunch of an antenna desperate for a signal, April George synthesizes the pleas of the unheard into a simple demand: “give me love”. 

“The Receiver” is the first single from April + VISTA’s forthcoming EP “Pit of My Dreams”, out March 19th. The release marks their return since 2019’s “Every Void” and the critically acclaimed “You Are Here” which gained support from the likes of The Fader, Afropunk, NPR, Apple Music 1 and BBC 1Xtra.
