First mix-down.....very rough draft. But I had a day off and played guitar and sang the lead vocals on the first track, then added more backing vocals, bass and drums after that. I'm not thrilled with how it sounds yet, but I had fun and it was just something that came to mind today

O Come, O Come, Emmanuel

Out in the country at mom's house, and there's this upright piano...I've been drawn to it nearly every day. So I got up early today and sat my iPhone up and hit record. This is what you call 'raw'....nothing is balanced, nothing is overdubbed. It's just me, a cup of coffee and a piano.

Just messing around for the first time in ages to try out my new amp with the new Apogee Duet 2. Sloppy playing, and it doesn't really go anywhere, but I'm impressed with how easily I can set up and record. Hopefully I'll clean up my playing and start improving again soon!

"Crazy" - Gnarls Barkley Cover

I wanted to do this song, because I really loved the melody and the way the phrasing was done. But I really didn't like the musical arrangement very much. So, I thought I'd try something a little different.
I wasn't very happy with the way the percussion turned out, but I had limited resources at the time, so this was the best I could do. 
I still like this recording though. 
Again...it's all me, so I take full credit for anything screwy with it. LOL

Played on my Taylor Acoustic in front of a mic.

Another older recording....again, one of the very first ones I tried at home.
The vocals are awful, but I'm playing and singing everything.

I have just always loved this song....no other reason for recording it than that. Great melody, words and instrumentation in this song.
