Apurva Chavda a.k.a ApurvA is a Mumbai based drum and bass producer/DJ.

To date, he has released two original tracks. His very first release, Home was part of the "Nomads In Sound. 03" compilation on Meerkat Recordings. His other was a collaboration with Nuphlo, alongside Osmani Soundz and Ges-e. Both tracks were released earlier this year by the same Swedish label (Meerkat).

His first forays into the world of music production actually came from a remix for the soundtrack of Everywhere Nowhere, a drama centered on a British-Asian teenager torn between honoring his family traditions and his love for DJ'ing. The film, now available on DVD, also features music from the likes of The Prodigy, Engine Earz, Redlight, Zinc, Sukh Knight, Sub Focus, Roots Manuva, Toddla T, Nerm and D-Code.

His Wild City mix is an atmospheric and punchy affair, drawing on productions from the likes of Photek, Marcus Intalex, Breakage and Nymfo. Although a mix of various styles of drum and bass, it has been layered and cramped into AvurvA's sound world and in all honesty sounds all the more thrilling for it. We suggest you download it, turn it up and bounce.

This mix is almost identical to the one I played there and so holds a very special place in my heart. ApurvA is a self-learned Drum and Bass producer and DJ from Bombay.
His varying styles including atmospheric, liquid, ambient, dub, jungle, dark , indian electronica and dubstep. With two track released that inculdes an original production called "Home" that appears on "Nomads in sound v3" compilation and other is collaboration with pioneers of eastern drums n breaks Nuphlo (Nasha records), on his latest "7th Day EP" alongside the legendary Nasha crew Osmani Soundz and Ges-e, "Conflict Resolution" which is both released on 1st June on Sweden label , Meerkat Recordings.

His earlier release was a remix of the title track of movie "Everywhere Nowhere" which is released on Marvel360, the movie was released in UK and features music from The Prodigy, Engine Earz Experiment, Redlight, Zinc, Sukh Knight, Sub Focus, Roots Manuva, Toddla Tm, Nerm and D-Code.

Apart from music production his interest also lies in graphics and visuals. He had also made video for his tracks that are released and one more track by Nuphlo and Osmani Soundz.

As for his current plans, he’s working on two more videos, one is for his remix of BLU MAR TEN's remix All Or Nothing and another is for track by Nuphlo and Ges-e which will be releasing on Nasha V4 later this year. Along side he's also planning on releasing his own EP so keep watching the space.
