In this episode, we hear from two different campaigns for workers' rights and how they fit into APWLD's call for Global Strike. We talk to our members Nazma Akter of Awaj Foundation in Bangladesh and Daisy Arago of the Center for Trade Union and Human Rights in the Philippines, where they share their experiences as workers and the impact of women's participation in this struggle. We are also joined with Kate Lappin of Public Services International, who reiterates the importance of moving beyond local strikes and individual issues to a larger Global Strike that challenges the current neoliberal economic system.
