World Canvas is a cross-disciplinary platform for unconfined expressions of emotion. We strive to provide a home for artists on the fringes and backlots of contemporary art.
World Canvas is a blank surface, open to host audiovisual explorations, fictional fantasies and outcries of yearning.

Romance Relic is a moniker occupied by Helsinki-based artist Jussi Hertz. Having released EPs via ANBA and THRDEYEVSN labels, Romance Relic is currently working on his upcoming debut album.
Opening the World Cancas mix series, Romance Relic channels cinematic storytelling bringing together delicate and euphoric songs from various producers and composers. The mix is accompanied by Hertz’s fragmentary prose poem ’Disrupted, Disobient, Lovesick’.

Emotional material manifests itself in many different forms. Sometimes it flows like a river, rolls like a wave or pours like rain. The fluidity of emotional experience makes sense as our bodies are mostly made up of water – life's matter and matrix, mother and medium.

It is time to let go of your fear and doubts. You must learn to embrace the darkness of your soul, for it is a light beacon of hope for humanity. Your soul wants to show itself in its truest form, strength, perseverance, courage and determination of spirit. In this lifetime your soul needs to cleanse and open its feelings for katharsis. This current physical lifetime offers you a new leaf, to be able to learn to balance obsolete, distorted behaviors.
