"I like this song." Even though I heard in the comments that the "phase" was happening, I didn't think it was a bad sound during the creation. I like the "phase shift" in Mr. Superstein's comment.
The song was inspired by a photograph of a man sleeping in the crowd in front of the station and his companion's dog. The melody of the trumpet is the slumber of two people. The surrounding miscellaneous sounds express the hustle and bustle of the city.
"What a fun composition experience." I was able to experience the fun of "Phase Shift" even though I had never heard a single piece about Reich. I couldn't be happier.
