The fourth release in our Break 3000 revisited classics series are three unreleased songs from the period 1998-2001. The opening track "Wide" has a great drive and shows Break 3000's early influence from producers like David Carretta and The Hacker. The second track takes up that same pace and is a fine melodic Electro/ Techno Emo track, so typical for the early 2000's Electro Clash movement he was part off. The closing title is a real FUN Italo inspired studio workout that aged very well these past 20 years, now finally seeing the light of day on this EP! Enjoy!

All tracks were carefully re-mastered by Salz Mastering in Cologne.

Break 3000 | Message | Electron Feel

For our ninth offering we are delighted to welcome Lisbon based artist Larry Quest to the label. Larry is an astute producer adaptable to varying styles, strong in musicality and a particular flair for soulful, jazzy touches and classy deep house music. For the ‘Mystery Herd’ release we are treated to an EP richly inspired by the natural world and the colors within. Venus Girdle enjoys ethereal pads, a strong but distant kick and swelling percussion. Asian butterfly Alpine Black Swallowtail informs the next track, with its mountainous field-recording, gentle arpeggios and harmony of pads. Haliotis reverb swelling pads represent the waves, the synths and percussion, the spume and the bass groove embodying the sea. Nicobarica is a cool organic track with beautifully played keys, live guitar licks and a breezy rhythm section complete with rolling percussion all combining making for an infectious groove.

Merging 80’s nostalgia and 90’s rave influences, the EP evokes the past in spirit, when rules weren’t yet written and our romance with transcendental machine sounds was in its early days. You can find freedom within the tracks and unity around the album. Vigorous beats and ethereal pads that bring about the first light of bliss to a packed summer dancefloor. This is a record you sit and listen as a whole, something that in our current time is rare. A journey into sound.

CUERPOS returns with the “En Dos Partes” EP on YUNG DUMB Records, a follow-up to their self-released record from 2021, “Plumas”. The title of the EP translates to “in two places” and is a nod to the duo’s diverse musical background in both punk and electronic music.

The record features three original tracks – plus one remix – that span house, post-punk, and dub. With this release, the Canadian duo once again showcase their unique approach to dance music, fusing live instrumentation with raw vocal takes and dusty drums.

The first track, Sueño Sin Fin, is an upbeat dance track that pairs a driving bassline with catchy vocals. This track is reworked by the Montreal-based DJ and producer, Regularfantasy, with the adventurous DJ and the dancefloor in mind. The third track of the EP, Malas Lenguas, is a moody, downtempo house cut with post-punk and dub leanings. Finally, the EP is rounded out with a dub track that features a lurching bassline, whirring FX, and live percussion.

CUERPOS is a Newfoundland-based experimental music duo formed in 2019 by DJ/producer Francis Dawson and multi-instrumentalist Nadia Duman. Created with the intention of celebrating their Latin roots and recontextualizing the sounds they grew up listening to, CUERPOS combines elements from Latin and Caribbean music – cumbia, dub, reggae – with club-ready electronic beats and production.

Founded by DJ and producer Discrete Circuit in 2012, AWAY was born in Berlin out of a purist desire to establish a party for timeless house and techno music. In the early days, AWAY moved from multiple in- and outdoor venues to showcases across Europe to ultimately finding a stable home base at the About Blank club in 2015. Quickly they earned a reputation as a must-attend event series without losing its underground credibility. The AWAY crew did not shy away from booking many veterans and legends of the genre, some of whom are now on the compilation "AWAY 10 Years".

Alessio starts his musical career at the age of 13, approaching the world of djing through parties organized by friends. House music lover and vinyl addicted; His musical route is dynamic and the continuous desire to offer something original has brought him to be very appreciated during these years.
His label Trend Records released a lot of young talents alongside masters like Paul Johnson, Ricky Montanari and Paul Cut.
The music has been played by artists like Osunlade, Vincent Floyd, Alexander Robotnick, Terry Farley, Ben Sims and Fred P to name a few. Alessio has performed in great clubs around Italy and not only: Berlin, Zurich, Barcelona, London, Tunis and more to come. His tracks have been played and appreciated by artists like Jimpster, Kerri Chandler, Dj Sneak, Doc Martin, Honey Dijon, Steve Lawler, Slam and many more.
in 2017, Alessio started to make music even with a new alias: Hill.
He presses his own music, that's why Hill is also a label where he releases only his stuff, exclusively on wax.
Hill's music has been played by Secretsundaze, Nachtbraker, Apollonia, Move D just to say some names.
Alessio use this alias to bring on stage his production, performing them with a live set composed by some drum machines, effects and the queen of samplers, the MPC. His versatility makes Alessio a unique artist, constantly in search, always ready to surprise.
