After 15 years of shaping Hungary’s electronic music events scene, Technokunst proudly unveils its record label. The inaugural 12” kicks off a series of collaborative releases, featuring some of the collective’s favourite Artists. Each release in the ‘Split Series’ will consist of both original tracks and reworks.

The first EP brings together Rrose and Luigi Tozzi for a dive into very deep waters across four cuts of mental Deep Techno. These are functional, floor-focused workouts — built for keeping the floor moving through all phases of the night.

Doctrina Natura, a DJ and producer from Seville, Spain, has been working on this project since 2017 and has released his music on labels such as Oslated, Anulled Music, Circular Limited, Agos, and others.

On the first night of this edition of Sinexsia, he delighted us with this set, which ranged from calm and organic sounds to hypnotic and dance rhythms.

John Fernie, riginally from Glasgow, Scotland, has been a figure in the local Scottish electronic music scene since the early 2000s. With a deep-rooted involvement in organizing and performing at events, he has continually contributed to its growth and evolution.
In recent years, Fernie has further honed his sound design through both music production and live DJ sets, leading to performances at events across Europe and beyond.  His signature sound has strong links to emotional pads and thought provoking energies.  He also collaborates with local deep techno mainstays Repart and Deepbass to promote the Orbits event series, and serves as a podcast curator for the respected Norwegian techno platform Monument.
His discography spans a variety of well-regarded labels, including KVLTO, BAHN·, Informa, and Indefinite Pitch, with more work on the horizon as he continues to push his sonic boundaries.
Fernie is also the founder of Space Textures, a platform dedicated to atmospheric deep techno. The label is steadily expanding, showcasing a growing catalog of high-quality releases.

The fourteenth podcast. The first artist on the 2025 gathering lineup. When the idea for this podcast was first developed, showcasing Sardinian DJ's was always something we wanted to accomplish. There is a natural harmony between the environment here and this style of music. It is something that is difficult to articulate. The ambience lends itself to the hypnotic, organic, profound tones. The landscape mirrors the sheer, rugged, illusive elements of deep techno. The lapping sea emulates the constant, unerring yet unpredictable facets. 

One artist who in our minds captures the very essence of all of this; with consistently top quality releases, classy mixes and a genuine, friendly and approachable character, is Save Your Atoll, who we are thrilled to welcome to the Out Of Focus Podcast. 

We are also overjoyed to announce @SaveYourAtollofficial as the first name on our lineup for Out Of Focus Gathering 2025, an event that grants the opportunity to come and witness the harmony between this place and this music.

Today's mix is grounded in pace and energy. Rhythmic elements intertwine to invoke an unyielding urge to move. Ever present is the push and pull, the tension and release, poised expertly to give the listener relief at the exact moment you need it. Out Of Focus 014 - Save Your Atoll

Observing the ever-changing scene and dance floor, @einox strives to resonate with the people who stand upon it. The purpose of his music is not techno as a genre itself, but rather the manipulation of the collective neurons and central nervous system of the crowd. Over the past two years, he has begun to experiment with his sound within the broader spectrum of electronic music. With the resurgence of ’90s dance music- particularly from the UK - he seeks to explore, in his own way, the particle accelerators of Breakbeat, DnB, and Jungle that have re-emerged.

Einox experiments with the avant-garde of contemporary culture and sensibility through diverse forms such as sound, electronic music, curatorial practice, and critical writing. Exploring the speculative boundaries of techno, IDM, and leftfield, they have collaborated with international labels including Affin, Semantica, and Crescent London. In April 2024, Einox was featured in Mixmag Asia’s “Artists Exciting Us in 2024.” Currently based in Seoul, Einox is pursuing a PhD in art studies while working as co-director of the art space Faction and the label GUCHUK.

DJ Sodeyama’s murky alias The People in Fog is up next for a very special number. The DJ/producer has been active since the 90s, reshaping his home city, extensively touring the globe, releasing music, founding record labels (Arpa) and toying with different incarnations of his palette under a few different names. The People In Fog is one such project, founded a decade ago as license to lean into his more disco and house inclinations, a means of connecting with a lighter penchant for Chicago-style and Balearic rhythms. It’s a manifestation that’s given the world several first-rate releases like debut album A Ray of Light (2013), Album: 1977 (2021) and this year’s Too Much Knobs and Cables. His whistle-stop promo tour of Japan for that latest release has been whipping up plenty of shifting grooves and phase distortions, and delivering that fresh take on sound to IRL crowds in his native land. For the rest of us, the nine-tracker’s a perfect source for summer anthems: a fuzzy, analog patchwork of synths and low-end bass. Bassiani Podcast 273 takes all of this and turns up the heat, The People In Fog’s deep reverence for underground sounds is here for a two-hour mash up of grimy percussions and sensuous urban sounds. Alban is a producer, DJ, and live artist based in Düsseldorf, Germany. He creates music by combining sounds from nature and acoustic instruments with deep electronic beats.

Today’s mix is a deeply personal hybrid set, combining live-played didgeridoo and djembe with patterns from analog gear like the 909 and Elektron Digitakt. It weaves together his latest productions, unreleased material, and tracks by close friends and artists who have inspired his journey.

Batumi-born, Berlin-based DJ/Producer Nicole has been instrumental in the evolution of Tbilisi’s role as axis for music and politics. Her earliest ventures in sonic creation saw her attend music school as a child and drum in a band, followed by a pivot into electronic music as half of teenage duo Body Thrills. It was 2018 that she truly emerged solo as a talent to watch on the Georgian scene, with a Boiler Room performance at Bassiani to celebrate its reopening following civilian protests against the government’s shutdown of cultural spaces. And with the threat of authoritarian ideology looming once more, her kind of energy is perhaps more important than ever. Nicole’s sound represents the best of what Georgia has to offer, a free and open enthusiasm for life where creativity reigns and anything is possible. Witty minimal with a generous measure of acid squelches and positive funk, these tunes are a mirror to the dancefloors she plays on. Her strength is in knowing her audience, which strings to pull and when, and that’s just as true of her other work, which now counts promotion duties at Tbilisi space Cafe Gallery and an EP on Marco Shuttle’s Eerie Records. This latest episode carries Tbilisi’s flame forward, a six-hour compilation that brings together her unique perspective as native to the city’s struggle, and her disparate musical references. Bassiani Podcast 275 is a knockout set from a top-notch local talent.
