i met sporty-o during the summer of 2007 whilst in LA djing... he was a mate of DJ lethal from House Of Pain / Limp Biskit. I was at lethals studio when we were introduced. we got on well and it was decided to fly back out in october 2007 and write tracks with sporty-o, lethal and crash berlin as well as pink enemy. i stayed out there for 6 weeks... it was awesome! we got loads done with sporty-o...

but as is always the way in breaks others were lazy in looking for their own vocalists and decided to jump on ours (naming no names!!! cough cough) and since then we decided not to water down our stuff and didnt get to write anymore with sporty-o which was a shame but no worries... we hooked up with wizard sleeve the following year and had great success with them so things happen for a reason!

this tune still goes off... it should of been a black noise tune really but it was so fun and summery it really had to be an aquasky release as its pure party times!

maybe one day in the future we will work with sporty again... the international businessman :)

another track and another classic break... we were inspired to do these tunes after a run of live kinda gigs with the twins during 2010. we hadnt played breaks for over a year as we were doing our black noise project. but after making this with the twins we were back onto the breaks again!!! bigtime... on the flipside was 'raggatron'

We were sent this tune by Nick Thayers cousin... BillPosters! And he must have known we love great melody lines with big basslines because we signed it up with the flipside 'Lands End' (heavily supported by Rusko!) As well as us remixing it we got Crissy Criss from 1xtra to do a d&b and drumstep versions... 

this is the new/old sound of aquasky which ever way you want to look at it!!! enjoy... album soon come!

A pair of deafening plots hatched by Aquasky involving testing of the bravery of some legendary jungle/drum & bass tonsils
So you have Diane Charlemagne of Goldie’s Inner City Life eternality on hire to uplift Take Me There – with rave pianos on the rise and big diva lyrics wrapping themselves around the room, you’re thinking, feelgood hit of the summer. That’s before Aquasky’s thunder and lightning of dubstep puts Charlemagne slap bang in the middle of a storm as a prophet of doom, eyes retuned into a Carrie-style bloodlust. You then cotton on that when she sings “I don’t even care if I drop”, forget the mountain vantage point she describes, it means there’s a spewing volcano with her name on it that’s she eager to backflip into. A furious typhoon that looks up Armand van Helden’s Alienz on its family tree and donates a 4x4 breaks branch of rampant malice, hold onto your hats as the G-forces wrap up the gift of whiplash. 
 
Part two of the female fury has Kelly Richards from EZ Rollers pointing her famous vocal barrels at a quarrelling hopscotch, Aquasky going for a paddle in a mutant pool full of piranhas and electric eels, that does jump-up breaks with a bounce trying out-vault dubstep dimensions. It’s high voltage, but fun to step to as it dares you to double-dutch over third rails and live wires innocently enough. Yet for a second time the vocals become an energy source for a harrowing turn of events. The screeching, tooth-loosening percussion should be a giveaway, with Richards the Lady Roller pulling her scalp back to reveal she’s Medusa’s second cousin. As a tech-step thrash crumpling civilisation like a crisp packet and turning dream waves into shockwaves on red alert, second time around you might not be so casual with where you plant your feet. A pair of real stormers from Dave Wallace, Kieron Bailey and Brent Newitt. 8/10
