8. Song of the Ancients - Another Edit Version - NieR Replicant ver. 1.22 OST

This is the first combat theme I have ever made with the intention of it beeing one. Getting started was quite difficult, because I once again wanted to make the audio adaptable, beeing able to change the combat theme at any given playpoint with the relaxing background music, which later turned out to be 'These Far Lands'. With that beeing in mind, and a deadline upfront, I nearly went away from this interchangable idea due to time and having never done something this far apart. One epic battle theme beeing able to play alongside one calming melancholic background music.
I am very glad my team wanted me to pursue my idea though.

In the Action-Adventure-RPG Ocularis, the player takes on the role of Leonora, a lost warrioress. Stranded in a magical Norwegian stylized world, Leonora embarks on a quest to find parts of herself and must cope with the remains of an ancient civilization, interesting encounters, and her connection to the mysterious Ocularis relic.

In Oculas the music is made dynamically. This means that the music switches interchangablely. Unlike other games in which the combat theme always starts from the beginning, it can drop in at any given point in it's song. The idle backgroundmusic fades into and out of the combat theme and can even play alongside it.

after talking with ppl about how to improve it it took all suggestions and tada

-lower vocal volume
-fade out on the slide down at the end of the tapping part of the solo
-louder guitar
-few more minor reverberated vocals to straight vocals ratio adjustments

The length of the last song was cut short due to the website I was using to convert mp3 downloads from YouTube. Since then, I've used another website to convert the FULL song from YouTube, so this one should be 5:30 instead of the 2:30. Also misspelled Alec Holowka's name but fixed it. Enjoy! :)
