Everyone says there are no good songs about #Thanksgiving, I got your back. I wrote a song about the unsung heroes of Thanksgiving...SIDE DISHES. The album was released on November 16, 2018. There was a benefit show on November 17 at Stosh’s in New Jersey. The album was co-produced by Cocotazo Media and You Don’t Know Jersey. Aquino was the music curator and mastered the album. Proceeds for the album and event went to the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair.

Aquino is a Cuba-Rican musician and performer born in the urbanlands of northern New Jersey. Michael is a co-founder of Cocotazo Media, which produces music and audio fiction by independent artists of all backgrounds. Michael is the co-producer, composer, and audio engineer for their production Timestorm. Michael also produced and engineered his self-released albums, Giants Will Fall (2015) and City Stars (2017). He also co-produced a benefit album - Stuff This in Yer Face! (2018) - with You Don’t Know Jersey. Michael  received two Audio Verse Awards for Best Music, Self-Contained Dramatic  Production ("Blood Heart" with Ernio Hernandez) and Best Audio Engineering, Self-Contained Comedic Production (Something Inside That Head of Yours). He has written over 100 original songs and was also nominated for a 2013 Jersey Acoustic Music Award (Top Male Songwriter category)
