I was inspired by the death of Nipsey Hussle to write about death, and the way that we deal with death. This song gets deep, but is ultimately optimistic.

I decided to release this on September 13th at 4:03 pm, exactly 23 years after the death of 2Pac. The first two rap songs I ever heard were High Speed and The Good Die Young by 2Pac and the Outlawz. It's too perfect.
