Bio: David Khrist


David Khrist is more than just a rapper.  He is a hip hop artist with a story to tell and the lyrical talent to appeal to the masses.  Humble yet confident, David has become a major force in the California rap scene, and is now poised to reach a national audience.

 

Born in Fontanta, CA, David started rapping when he was still just a child.  Classic old school hip hop was responsible for his musical awakening, as he fell in love with LL Cool J’s laid back sound.  He continued absorbing as much music as he could, and with the encouragement of his cousin Prince Frosty he soon started in to write and record his own songs, quickly developing his own style.  With thoughtful, conscious lyrics and a gritty west coast flow, he quickly gained a following of devoted listeners.

 

David’s career officially launched in early 2020, with the release of several singles that showcased his singular talent.  He followed that up with his first major statement, the debut full length ‘I’m The Truth.’  An unflinchingly honest look at the world around him, the album proved that the California native could hang with the best in the game.  Since then, David has been working tirelessly to improve his craft and build his reputation.  

 

“I don’t do it for the fame,” David says.  “I do it because I love it.”  David’s love of hip hop has fueled his rise, and
 he is determined to take his music as far as it can go.
