For our 81st podcast to our series we welcome Levchenkov, DJ & Producer from Moscow. His start was made with the launch of the first Uptown Vibes own parties within the walls of the Trekhgornaya Manufactura. Today, he is now the ideologist and co-founder of the F8 event label. A frequent guest of  Sanchez Thursdays in the cult club of Moscow “Propaganda”.  His sets have been played at venues such as Aglomerat, Gazgolder Club, Dissident, RNDM Bar, Ruin Bar, Suzuran Bar.

Deep Dive Corp.  Enjoy The Silence

The first full-length record from Tanzanian-Canadian artist, Alysha Brilla. All of the songs were written and produced by Brilla herself, enlisting Juno-Award winning engineers Mike Jones and Denis Tougas.

Alysha Brilla is a critically acclaimed Tanzanian-Canadian multi-disciplinary artist known for her musical mix of jazz, world and pop.  

Brilla performs on both guitar and piano. Her playful lyrics and on stage banter have garnered the attention of audiences internationally. The 2012 Leading Edge Arts Award winner has performed live at The Montreal Jazz Festival, The Mariposa Folk Festival and was recently a speaker at a TEDtalk.  Alysha Brilla’s song “Lifted” was featured on the television show “Degrassi; The Next Generation”, with other songs becoming a staple on showcase network’s television series “King”. U.K. award winning multi-disciplinary artist Luke Jerram featured Alysha Brilla in a video of her playing his installation street piano in Toronto for “Play Me, I’m Yours”.  Brilla is currently recording her second full-length album, to be released on her own label, “Sunny Jam Records” this summer. With plans to tour in 2013, music audiences have a lot to look forward to from this bright young performer.
