In TIME TO FACE, Boris Divider seems to operate from an invisible sub-layer of the system, where machines no longer execute orders—they interpret, react and reconfigure themselves. Each track works as a fragment of a world in mutation, a territory where the friction between algorithm and synthetic consciousness generates brief sparks of humanity. On Walls, structures rise like barriers erected by the network itself, while Time To Face opens the first emotional fracture within this controlled environment. Benchmark Test #T08A2 acts as a short diagnostic interlude, an internal check-up that prepares the ground for Rival, where the tension amplifies and takes shape as an open confrontation between forces that can no longer turn back. A cold, persistent inner pulse suggests that something is about to break—or awaken.

It is in Time To Face and, especially, Your Fate that this fracture becomes pure emotion. Divider introduces melodies that do not intend to move you, yet inevitably do; minimal gestures that feel like residual memory trapped between cables and predictive models. Rival works as the bridge between diagnosis and collapse, driving the narrative toward a point of no return. Each frequency feels like a message transmitted from an eroded future, where technology no longer imitates the human—it analyses it, reflects it and confronts it. TIME TO FACE confirms Divider’s singular approach: advanced electronic music that is direct and elegant, built on a constant balance of tension, detail and a deeply personal futuristic sensibility.

Avoidant is a brand new label from Glasgow that debuts with a statement electro release from Berlin innovators CYRK called ‘Doppler Spectroscopy’.

Comprised of Sammy Goossens and Pascal Hetzel, this hardware loving pair are masters of live jam sessions and cross all genre lines with a real and raw sense of energy. Drawing on Detroit’s rich history, the best of electro and playing everywhere from Tokyo’s Womb to Panorama Bar and Epizode festival in Vietnam, they’ve also established their own self-titled label while getting plays from contemporary stars like DJ Stingray, Steffi and Helena Hauff. They now kick-start Avoidant, a Glaswegian imprint rooted in leftfield electro and diverse sonics.

Fantastic and futuristic first track ‘Doppler Spectroscopy’ is a searing electro cut with corrugated bass funk to spare. Molten acid, crisp hits and sustained chords flesh out the groove and make for effective, unforgettable listening. ‘Convolution’ is a busy jam with more electro stylings and freeform synth lines. It’s cinematic and sci-fi, with punchy kicks offset by gorgeous twinkling keys and really tugs at the heart despite the physicality of it all. Closing out a top trio is ‘Inverted Gravity’, a darker electro trip but still with pensive chords and an unpredictable groove.

This bold first release is a fantastic way to kick off what promises to be an interesting new label.

Upon a black screen a pixel began to flicker and flutter, static pulsed through the circuits with a steady surge as images began to dance. They flashed and faded, quickly and sporadically as characters and text triggered the next wave of visual confusion. Deep inside the base of the machine, a million wires buzzed.

Watching on, sat alone in a darkened room, her eyes were mesmerised by the strange patterns which beamed out from the monitor before her. For someone about to enter the wormhole she was awfully calm. A hazy sense of depersonalisation hung thick from every cell as she prepared to leave her body and join the system.

A ringing presented itself in her ears, it was sharp and harsh, a hypnotic tone with an eerie undercurrent. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and jumped as the room reverberated all around her. She was gone now and all that was left was the dense, bitter darkness: a glass screen and a million flashing lights. It were as if the electrical currents were stars in a world in which she lived alone. There were no people here, just visions of places far away and dreams she’d yet to live. Her breathing was quiet and slow as she observed each image with a wry smile.

The ringing was gone, all was peaceful and still. The noise of the outside world was quiet, replaced by the pulse and promise of machines and memories yet to be explored.

A1 starts with a short eerie intro and after that they come straight to the point with an UFO electro techno stomper with vocals from Helena. The flip side is floating around with alot of echoes and delays melodies and 303s, Helenas beautiful voice and this special old school feeling. Again the artwork is done by the amazing Godspill aka Mehdi Rouchiche. Every record comes with a download code. The outer contour of the picture is also the contour of the record and makes this release once again to a high collectable item..
