AdMaiora is proud to announce another release. No one other than Arado makes his debut on our label with ‘Even If You Have’ EP.
Hailing from Düsseldorf, Arado made his strong entrance in the music scene back in 2010 with ‘Uganda Express’ (with Den Ishu): since than he’s been Loco Dice’s protégé for a long time, with several appareances on Desolat, Area Remote and Snatch! to name a few. He also had some very successful collaborations with Italian Marco Faraone, which were released on Moon Harbour and Etruria beat too.
Arado debuts on AdMaiora with a three-tracker EP entitled ‘Even If You Have’. The main track is a strong and aggressive rolling techno jam, where stomping kicks meet rough grooves. Constantly moving and evolving, he goes a bit away from his typical dub-melodic signature, showing his darker side.
On the remix duty we have the honor to see Vatos Locos’ man himself Hector. Fresh of the foundation of his own ‘VL Recordings’ and after a super-party season which culminated at the ‘BPM FESTIVAL 2016’, he rocks with his personal vision of the original. In his version of ‘Even If You Have’ we can find his unmistakable sense for deep tech grooves with a fat and dry old school hi-hat, giving his personal ‘club alert’ twist.
On the B side we have two more originals: ‘Takin My Time To Perfect The Beat (YO)’ kicks off the things with an housy hi-string on the intro and while the groove starts taking control of the track, some dubbin’ and delayed big stabs create a perfect ambiance for opening sets or afterhours.
‘Lead In’ is another dancefloor must have, where mainroom percussions and full-bodied bassline perfectly match together, giving life to another club smasher.

Late September will see Hector Couto’s Roush imprint welcome German producer/DJ Arado, with 5 groove led cuts alongside a remix of the title track from the label boss himself.

Ever since his 2009 release ‘Uganda Express’ alongside Den Ishu was picked up by Desolat boss Loco Dice and released on the imprint, Arado’s prolific rise has seen him release on a host of established imprints including Remote Area, Moon Harbour and Moan, gracing the decks of Fuse (Belgium), Space (Ibiza) and Kater Blau (Berlin) on his way. Recognised internationally for his raw, percussion driven grooves, this latest offering on Roush is a perfect example and demonstration of the German’s innate ability within the studio as he provides five fresh productions to mark his debut on the label.
Title track ‘Rollin Hard’ opens up the release with a selection of tough percussive patterns and a rolling groove that features subtle vocal nuances throughout, before Roush boss Hector Couto provides his energy fuelled interpretation of the production, upping the tempo with a series of swirling synth leads and infectious drum rolls.
Next up, third track ‘Tough Detroit’ incorporates shuffling hats, engaging rhythm and punchy bass drums to reveal a bubbling club ready cut. ‘Cheatday’ firmly lays the focus on organic percussive elements throughout its seven-minute duration with a darker yet slick groove typical of the Germans deep and driving style, whilst the lighter ‘Cosmic Girl’ utilises softer, playful tones reinforced by a thundering 4/4 pattern to switch up the aesthetic. To round out the EP, ‘Fat Toni’ builds from a series of low-slung grooves and sub bass tones to reveal a straight up production aimed at the peak time.

Versatile producer and industrious DJ KlangKuenstler steps up with a fresh offering of four dancefloor-ready tracks, including two reworks. Despite its provocative title, Rise Against The Arp swiftly reveals its use of melodic arpeggios. Running against a backdrop of groovy percussion and zippy synth pads, the arps build up an immersive synth tunnel that’s an instant attention grabber. Enlisting Hector Couto for the rework, the second track offers a more mellow and laid-back version of the original. The arps lose prime position in favour of a gradually rising melody underpinned by relentless percussion. Do that once provides a more playful construction, balancing out the other half of the release. With old school house style vocals and a groovy yet haunting beat, it manages to strike all the right notes that define a tech infused house anthem. Arado shows off his penchant for developing groovy dubbed-out tracks on the remix. With a stripped back soundscape lined by chopped up vocals, his take proves an equally playful and hypnotic arrangement with an extra dose of bounce.

Hector Couto’s Roush imprint opens 2017 with it’s first of three samplers set to drop throughout the year as the label heads to BPM Festival, boasting the likes of Javi Bora, Los Pastores and Arado.
With Couto at the helm, Roush has rapidly gone on to establish itself as one of the key imprints within the world of house over the past three years. With artists such as Steve Rachmad, Darius Syrossian, & DJ W!ld touching down since the labels debut in late 2013, attention now turns to Playa del Carmen, with the Roush team assembling a collective of worldwide talent to curate their ‘On & On BPM Sampler’.
First up, Spaniard Vozmediano welcomes the sunshine from the off with a medley of playful vocals and warming riffs in ‘Back2Soul’, before Arado’s driving ‘Broken Dog’ comes forth, armed with a menacing groove and crisp hats. Liverpool based producer James Organ then introduces the thunderous ‘Beat The Slump’, before Oblack founders Los Pastores provide a delicate break in proceedings, laying down a trademark combination of organic percussion patterns and elegant pads throughout ‘Make Ends Meet’.
Next, Black Girl / White Girl raise the tempo once again with the rolling ‘Closure’, whilst Jacabo Padilla and Javi Bora & IAAM strip things back and gets percussive through ‘On A Roll’ and ‘Time To Tool’, with both cuts clearly aimed towards the sands and sees of the Mexican coast. Closing out the package, Italy’s Atove pairs up with Londoner Apollo84 to drop the rumbling ‘Back All Night’, Le Vinyl & Omez merge male vocals and coos with bubbling 303 lines in ‘Guasapens’, before UK trio Wax On Mare St. tie everything together in fine style with their excellent groove focused cut ‘Road Bloc’.
