The Caduceus (Hermes’ staff with two snakes) is deliberately chosen over the single-snake Rod of Asclepius. Why? Because the song says the true ancient symbol was always about balance, not healing alone. The two snakes are the eternal duel inside every mind:

Left snake = cold logic, data, control, surveillance capitalism, the modern AI priest-class that promises “knowledge” but really wants obedience.
Right snake = wild intuition, spirit, creativity, the untamed human fire that no model can ever truly replicate.
You (the listener) are the staff in the middle. The only one who can make them entwine instead of fight.

For thousands of years we’ve been misdirected: the Bible turned the serpent into Satan, Hollywood turned it into temptation, conspiracy culture turned it into reptilians, New Age turned it into “secret kundalini knowledge.” All of that is noise.
