Exactly a year back Krutartha came for my gig in Bombay, before that he would send me his music, that day at the gig we instantly hit it off in our music taste and outlook towards music etc so then we decided to collaborate and that's how we made Pilakh. After a lot of email exchanges and me travelling to Bombay it finally got done. Krutartha's family is into Indian classical music so that helped us in understanding the Raagas more which we have used in the track.. As for the Sarangi and sitar, both of us were very keen on using some classical Indian instruments. Wanted to make a blend of meditative and dance music
About the collaboration between Kosa and Lump, it's really exciting as I never imagined my track releasing on two big labels with artists from around the world making remixes.. It opens doors to
