This is really great, the rhythmic quality of your synth elements and the overall choice of sounds is great. Would say that what could be pushed further in this track is the drum usage as it feels a bit weak in the mix. To really add depth to this track a stronger bass and more powerful drums will add to the already funky and fun synth ideas. Love the speeding up mid section, unusual and works nicely :) keep it going! :)

Who remembers Fidget? I felt like doing a little throwback mixtape from around 2008 where ‘Fidget’, or however you’d like to name it, was at it’s peak… It was around this time when guys like Crookers and Switch really switched up the game (pun alert) This music was rebellious and unpredictable, and the unwritten rules of dance music that ever existed before were basically given the middle finger. The cliche was that there were no cliches. Everyone was making weird and experimental sounds. Sometimes I miss these days, where today a lot of music is ‘textbook’, polished and smooth. Back then was a special time for me because I was just starting out to tour internationally. I had two tracks crowned ‘essential new tune’ on BBC radio 1, and suddenly I found myself in the UK or somewhere in Europe every weekend playing all kinds of parties that were all just as crazy as the music! I hope you enjoy the mix as much as I do! If you like the idea, please let me know and I’ll dig a little deeper to post these throwback mixes more often…
