Highly inspired by the original song, the Dutch dj/producer Arcando is bringing back the throwback vibes with his massive drum & bass cover of arguably the most iconic rock song of all time: The Killers - Mr. Brightside. Successfully harnessing the electric pop rock atmosphere of the original song, while giving it an extra round of energy accompanied by Livingston Crain’s distinguishable vocal work, the cover is set to be one of the most interesting DnB releases in the late 2023.

After going viral on TikTok and reaching millions of views with his drum & bass directed content creation, the release of ‘Mr. Brightside’ officially kickstarts Arcando’s transition into drum & bass, after years of producing a wide range of different genres of electronic dance music. After Martin Garrix broke the internet by playing Arcando's drum & bass remix of Alok & The Chainsmokers - Jungle at Ultra Miami mainstage, the Dutch dj/producer Arcando keeps up with the momentum by releasing his aggressive drum & bass single 'Don't Tell Me'. The single showcases Arcando’s heavier and darker side of drum & bass productions, being capable of producing all kind of bass orientated music ranging all the way from the radio-orientated commercial remixes to the fierce club weapons. Set to be released on April 5th, the song also kickstarts Arcando’s mini tour in the Netherlands, consisting of 4 shows in Amsterdam, Breda and Leeuwarden.

The Dutch multi-talent Marc Bandecchi aka Arcando has been skyrocketing to the forefront of the next-generation electronic music acts with his genre-bending productions and relatable content creation. Drawing influence from real-life instruments, the 25-year-old dj/producer’s innovative sound has amassed over 175 million plays on all platforms with official remixes for the superstars R3HAB, Cheat Codes, Grey, Flux Pavilion, Sofia Carson & Tritonal and single releases on A-list labels. 

Coming from a successful multi-genre background of producing EDM, Arcando is currently in the progress of reshaping his musical direction, while officially transitioning into drum & bass. Going into 2024 aka “the year of drum & bass”, Marc’s first six months are going to showcase a handful of major official remixes and exciting collaborations on top brands, in addition to multiple festival performances and club shows to be announced in Europe.

As the result of scoring a dozen of viral videos on TikTok and Instagram while racking over 170.000 followers and millions of views on the platforms, Arcando’s strong social media presence has attracted the interest of the major DnB labels, besides landing him brand endorsement deals with well-known music & audio companies JBL, BandLab, Output and more.

Furthermore, Marc’s single ‘Rebel’ has been synced as the trailer soundtrack for Netflix’s ‘Deaf U’-serie, and each of his three sample packs have reached top 10 ranks on Splice, with the fourth one being released in Q1 of 2024.
