His stripped-down, powerful sound brought him to a wide variety of venues and festivals such as Awakenings and Berghain. Next to his own artistry, Juan runs his own label ‘Format Records’ since 2014 and his own event series in Shelter, which have become outlets for the established and the upcoming.

Abstract Techno Set_Paris 15 [27-05-2023]

The reason for the title “Shedding Skin” marks my new adventure moving to Berlin. Now being based here with previous experience as a producer and DJ hailing from Miami. I am enjoying all the new experiences and culture I’ve dreamed of being immersed in. Come from my small techno community back home. Hence the tile as I shed my skin and grow to become the true artist I seek to Become.

I was really happy to do a 5 hours mix on Maxximum Radio https://maxximum.fr  
A bit of history about the radio…
It started in 1989 in France, it was the only radio where you could listen to electronic music 24/7. They were also doing parties once a month in different clubs and I was recording the whole night on tapes (cassettes). The only way to do this at that time was to change the tape every 1h30 so it means that I was awake the whole night and I was going to school in the morning like a zombie… This radio had a big influence on me. It was hard to find the vinyl of the sets but it was a good challenge. 
I was also doing mixtapes inspired by the radio and sold them to my friends in school so I could invest in more vinyl. 
Put your dancing shoes on and get ready for 5 hours of proper Rave techno. 💃
