"Filter set to Square wave from VCO1. VCO1’s sawtooth is routed into the filter AUX in. VCA in drone-mode. Filter all the way down being controlled by an external envelope, velocity and LFO. Resonance tweaked by hand."

"Triangle wave from VCO2. VCO 1 = Off. Filter is wide open. Filter CM1 is being controlled by an external LFO. CM2 is getting some modulation from VCO2, which is only really audible when the LFO from CM1 pulls the frequency down. Resonance is halfway up."

"Loki is being sent an evolving sequence of notes. VCO1 is in square mode with PWM being modulated by an external LFO. VCO2 is triangle mode with sync to VCO1 turned on. Filter is being modulated by an external envelope and the decay of the external envelope is being modulated by hand. VCA is in drone mode. The filter is in - mode and resonance is set to about 10 o’clock. 

A second evolving sequence is played over the top using a sawtooth based patch. "

"Classic Square (VCO1) and Saw (VCO2) combo. Sub on VCO1 is set to about 1:30. PWM on VCO1 is all the way down, but being controlled by a long envelope. Filter is being fed a step LFO for modulation. Resonance starts about halfway and the filter is modulated by hand throughout. "

"A performative patch using VCO2 (triangle) to FM VCO1 (square). Resonance is all the way up. Filter frequency is being modulated by two external LFOs. FM amount, VCO2 frequency, filter frequency and CM1 + CM2 all being manipulated by hand. (What a vibe!) VCA in AR mode with attack fully left and release fully right."

This track is a demo of a Loki ambient acid lead. The track starts dry with two saw oscillators and brings in an external delay effect while sweeping the cutoff. The sub-oscillator is introduced, then resonance, and finally hard sync. The sequence uses Loki's GLIDE, plus ENV input connected to note velocity to provide accented notes, giving the characteristic 'acid' sound.

This track is a demo of a Loki hard acid lead. This track demonstrates the additive resonance mode of Loki, which maintains the bass level when the resonance is increased. 

The track starts with a medium resonance, which is increased after 2 loops without any bass loss. After several cycles, the frequency of VCO 2 is swept while hard-synced to VCO 1. The sequence uses Loki's GLIDE, plus ENV input connected to note velocity to provide accented notes, giving the characteristic 'acid' sound. An external stereo-enhancing effect is applied to the mix.

"Loki is the lead in this track. The rhythmic plucks are generated from a Mutable Instruments Braids module. An external LFO is connected to one of the filter cutout inputs. Loki's VCO 2 is being flipped from tri to saw on the fly and layered with VCO 1."

"OSC1 is on square. OSC2 is on triangle. 

I'm manually adjusting resonance and drive throughout. 

FM input is getting hit by an external envelope to achieve the percussive element. 

Filter input 1 is receiving a secondary external envelope pluck. 

Filter CV2 is about 11 o'clock - no input.

I like this, because you can make it sound almost like a kick drum in there.
I have another LFO controlling the decay time of the FM envelope, so it's fluctuating a little bit.
Also bringing in some white noise occasionally into the filter aux input."
